Pros

Negates your opponent's trap card.
Activates from the hand making it hard for your opponent to play around.

Cons

Must discard himself with another Fairy-type monster to activate effect.
Useless against a deck with no trap cards.
Weak stats make him only good in your hand.

Tips

Notes

Since this card is also a monster, unlike counter trap cards, you can use him as negation or summon him to put a monster on the field in dire situations.
If you draw multiple copies of this card, you can use the other one as cost for activating your negation effect.

Radiant Jeral

Discard Radiant Jeral is a LIGHT monster that you can use as cost. When discarded he heals you 1000 LP to get some utility out of your discard.

Mudora

Sending Herald of Purple Light and another Fairy-type monster to the graveyard to negate an opponent's effect powers up Mudora by 400 points.

Apparently Herald of green light might be coming to this game soon... It's a dangerous hand trap that can negate any spell by discarding itself and another fairy monster.

Can we please get both the other two Heralds now? I've got a plan for them.

Dauntless

The only deck I see that might use this is F2P Cyber Angels, since Dakini can fetch your discard back, and Absolute Ritual can shuffle Herald back into the deck. I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 to replace Petit Angel though.

How come i can’t use it when its in my hand and my opponent activates a trap card and i have another fairy type in my hand as well?

Was it a Counter Trap? You can't respond to a Counter Trap with a monster's effect.

You can only respond to Counter Trap with another Counter Trap.

Yeah, bad card. Nobody ever use Heralds until the Ritual form and the Synchro form shows up.

Heck, Orange is pretty much the only basic Herald that actually sees some use, not only because of its effecy but also due to its Tuner status.
