The graveyard effect alone can get you an endless source of Monarch monsters so put Erebus as quickly into your graveyard as possible with discard and mill effects.
Monarch Spell/Trap cards with graveyard effects are good for Erebus’ costs. However other Monarch Spell/Trap are sometimes needed to fuel these effects. The Prime Monarch lets you return these Spell/Trap cards to your deck and gives you a draw.
