Evaluation

RatingB

Pros

  • Negates destruction effects.
  • Destroys the card negated.
  • Allows for easy summoning of Stardust Dragon.

Cons

  • Your opponent won't always have multi-destroying cards for you to negate.

Tips

  • You do not need to have Stardust Dragon in your extra deck to activate this card.

Self Triggering

You can use multi-destroying cards of your own for you to negate with Starlight Road. Do this to summon Stadust Dragon. You can even negate the effect of Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys and then destroy it for it to return the next turn.

Just dueled someone had 2 monsters on the field had this set they activated mirror force, couldn't activate this

idk, bringing out Stardust Dragon manually usually does the trick just fine vs. Yubel. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but since this doesn't *synchro* summon SDD, doesn't that mean it can't return from the graveyard via its own effect?

Yes, Stardust summoned from extra deck via card effect like Starlight Road & Stardust Re-Spark cannot revive itself or be revived by card effects.
<< Anonymous

The annoying part is that the anime version of this card actually Synchro Summon the Stardust Dragon.

Starlight road didn't work against cybernetic overflow? :(

I will make the same question as in most cases the answer is really simple, you just have to remember:
DO YOU SET THE STARLIGHT ROAD THE SAME TURN? REMEMBER IT IS A TRAP. TRAPS CAN'T BE ACTIVATED IN SAME TURN.

in addition, cybernetic overflow is conditioned effect. Can destroy 1 or more cards.

My opponent activated Shiranui Sunsaga and targeted my Brave Neos and this set card. However, I couldn't chain Starlight Road. Was it because of my Neos Fusion in the grave or because the effect text of Sunsaga does not necessarily destroy 2 cards?

Read your Neos, then your Star card, pay attention. All shall be revealed.

sounds poetic.

This card is pure 🔥 against Cyberdecks.
First negating and killing the Rampage Dragon and second negating Overflow with the summoned Stardust Dragon.
How does this work.
I USED ZORC AND 🔥 2 OF MY MONSTER (ROLLED 6) WHY COULDN'T I NEGATE IT .
BTW I USED DJINN FOR RITUAL , IS THAT MATTER (?)

I guess it's because his effect is a "conditioned" destruction effect. It may destroy 2 or more cards, or it may destroy only 1. And you can't chain a card to the result of dice roll(s).
<< Anonymous(How does this work.)
Anonymous Reply
Yep, this card (and Stardust itself) can only respond to destruction that are ensured, not in the form of a chance.
Anonymous
I’d rather use the Re-Spark
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It's not just special summon, but your opponent need to attack directly and your lp must be less or equal to the attacking monster.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Re-Spark still less situational than Starlight.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
No
<< Anonymous

re-spark requires a specific situation to occur, starlight road you can facilitate on your own without your opponent activating it.
Anonymous
Can I activate this card even if my monster zones were all occupied?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
You don't even need an Extra Deck, Summoning Stardust's completely optional. Even if it is in your Extra and you have space, you could choose not to.

Thank you! Might add this card for farming Sartorious lvl 40 due to his one card that destroys all monsters on my field.

Perfect counter to TTH.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
The problem is that Shi En is everywhere.
But you are right, TTH is not that lethal, you can also return your own monsters to hand to avoid destruction with duel wield.

Six samurai: cute

I hope Yubel is around when this comes out

We already got this card.
sshazm
So its an anti TTH, anti Yubel (Form 2), anti Batteryman boss-monster (Batteryman decks are showing up a bit more), and a few other more rogue decks get gimmick-countered by this card. Interesting, maybe worth running at 1 depending on the situation with the meta after the next few events.
