Evaluation

RatingB+

Pros

  • Negates destruction effects.
  • Destroys the card negated.
  • Allows for easy summoning of Stardust Dragon.

Cons

  • Your opponent won't always have multi-destroying cards for you to negate.

Tips

  • You do not need to have Stardust Dragon in your extra deck to activate this card.

Self Triggering

You can use multi-destroying cards of your own for you to negate with Starlight Road. Do this to summon Stadust Dragon. You can even negate the effect of Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys and then destroy it for it to return the next turn.

I hope Yubel is around when this comes out

We already got this card.

I’d rather use the Re-Spark

Re-Spark is LESS situational than this card lmao.

I mean, people use Drowning Mirror Force, and having an opponent Special Summons is a common thing nowadays.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
It's not just special summon, but your opponent need to attack directly and your lp must be less or equal to the attacking monster.

Re-Spark still less situational than Starlight.

How does this work.
I USED ZORC AND KILL 2 OF MY MONSTER (ROLLED 6) WHY COULDN'T I NEGATE IT .
BTW I USED DJINN FOR RITUAL , IS THAT MATTER (?)

I guess it's because his effect is a "conditioned" destruction effect. It may destroy 2 or more cards, or it may destroy only 1. And you can't chain a card to the result of dice roll(s).

So its an anti TTH, anti Yubel (Form 2), anti Batteryman boss-monster (Batteryman decks are showing up a bit more), and a few other more rogue decks get gimmick-countered by this card. Interesting, maybe worth running at 1 depending on the situation with the meta after the next few events.

This is just a game meant for fun. Why are there so many angry comments like this?

I'm not angry. Lol Just hate all of the copycats and noobs that done use any type of real strategy.

Noobs like you, that also copycat a yubel deck?
Stop being a pussy, 99% of players copy decks made by 1%.

Even if heroes go tier 5 we will enver hear the end of it will we X'D ffs the deck aint even tier 1 anymore lol

Good on a side deck, no ?

Right now? Not really. It'll become useful when they decide to release a card with mass destruction effect like Dark Hole, Mirror Force or Lightning Vortex.
<< Anonymous(LordEiki)

The issue is, there's no side deck.

Too bad tag duel isnt for pvp. Otherwise this would be a very viable card. Anyone know if tag will ever come out for pvp

I dont think so, the community in the western world is too ill for a tag duel. Maybe it could work in japan/asia only.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes, and I'm sure that you have met every single person in that community to confirm this. Not. Massive stereotyping doesn't make you sound intelligent.

idk, bringing out Stardust Dragon manually usually does the trick just fine vs. Yubel. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but since this doesn't *synchro* summon SDD, doesn't that mean it can't return from the graveyard via its own effect?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Yes, Stardust summoned from extra deck via card effect like Starlight Road & Stardust Re-Spark cannot revive itself or be revived by card effects.
Anonymous
you could use tth on yourself I guess.
<< Anonymous

Congratulations you played yourself

lol your IQ play is off the charts
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
yep, then you negate it and summon stardust dragon without any tribute

Freaking cool card, loved to play it the tcg

Far too situational, it’s not worth running in the current meta. Maybe it would’ve been better back a few months ago when a lot more people where running around with TTH and Yubel decks.
Anonymous
i'm a bit of a noob so can someone tell me what the diffrence between this and an ACTUAL counter trap is?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
You can't chain a normal trap to a counter trap
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Is about speeds:
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Spell_Speed

Normal trap is speed 2
Counter trap is speed 3

They can only chain with a same speed or below.
Never highers than itself.

That means, a speed 2 can't chain to a speed 3.
But a speed 3 can chain to a speed 2.
