Nope you didnt destroyed monster "by battle". You destroyed it "by effect" (face down monster)

I think people keep underestimating this card because it has to be set, which isn't so bad. You pair this up with Gamushara and Half counter and this thing can easily be leveled up while doing massive damage to the enemy. Plat 5 atm playing this lol
