Better than Magic Cylinder because it destroys a monster.

But magic cylinder deals more damage and can be a game changer or just straigh wins you the game. There is a reasion why they don't released it.

Burn nerf can be overlooked.
Interesting because in the anime, Trap Hole of Spikes originally inflicted quarter damage anyways. Which was necessary due to Duelist Kingdom 2000LP.

Card already inflict half ATK damage in OCG/TCG

.....So the damage will be a quarter of ATK in DL lol

Lets ask ourselves:
-What battle traps we use in our meta? Even drowing mirror force and WoD have almost disappeared.
-Can only be used on a monster that was summoned this turn and that monster has to attack this turn... So if the monster is already on field when you drow this card good luck. Also if you opponent doesnt declare an attack good luck again.

Despite that, at least is a decent trap and it is free (usually we get trash free traps). The best part is that it does not target. The burn (which will surelly get nerfed to 1/4) is also a plus. A good card for new and low rank players to fill their backrow until they get better replacements.
