Pros

Protects your monster from being destroyed by card effects.
Negates cards that target your monster with card effects, by making your monster unable to be targeted.
Can also be used to reduce your opponent’s monster’s ATK.

Cons

The monster loses 600 ATK.
The monster still can be destroyed by battle.

Tips

This is a good protection card during your Attack Phase, when your opponent attempts to use Enemy Controller or Super Rush Headlong cards to disrupt your attacks.
You can reduce your opponent’s monster’s ATK during Battle Phase to enable your monster to destroy it.

Black Rose Dragon is now a 1800 direct attack. It does decent damage.

this card is infinitely better than forbidden lance, it prevents CARD EFFECTS. This includes spells, traps, and monster effects and you only lose 600 ATK

This card is F+. Chain rules make this card practically useless as anon said.
Heck, Rush Recklessly is twice better than this card.

It's all about timing. FD can't prevent target or destruction effects until after resolving. ECON targets before resolving, so FD can't stop it if they're in the same chain. However, chaining FD to cards like SRH can prevent their destruction effects since they don't activate until resolving.

How can a spell still target a card that isnt a proper target? If it cant be targeted, it doesnt matter if it was targeted prior, dress target cant be a target. The spell should fizzle because it would have no target.

Forbidden dress DOES NOT UNTARGET YOUR CARDS, if your monster gets targeted by e-con you see the animation of targeting right? After that it is already too late, chaining dress DOES NOT WORK beacuse your monster is targeted already.....IT DOES NOT UNTARGET YOUR MONSTER

If it’s chained it’s ineffective, if it’s after the fact it’s ineffective. Kinda makes it useless really
