You can set Gyroid face-down and then when your opponent attacks him he will be in face-up defense position. You can then use Supercharge when your opponent attacks Gyroid again.
Debuff Gyroid to 500 or less attack and activate Machine Duplication to special summon 2 more Gyroids from your deck. Your opponent would need a total of 6 attacks in one battle phase to get rid of all your Gyroids.
You can use Mirror Mail to make the attacking monster’s attack equal to Gyroid’s. This will cause the attacking monster to be destroyed while Gyroid stays on the field protected by his own effect.
