Rex Raptor's Dino Mayhem has begun!

In addition, Roaring Rex Raptor will appear in Duel World during the event. Defeat him and your Duel meter will fill up significantly!

Regarding the Event

  • Roaring Rex Raptor does not appear at the Gate.
  • Roaring Rex Raptor has different Decks/Rewards from the regular Rex Raptor.
  • Rex Raptor will not appear in Duel World if you are using him as your character.
  • Only 1 Roaring Rex Raptor will appear in Duel World at once.
  • The chance of Roaring Rex Raptor appearing in Duel World is not affected by the appearance of other Standard/Legendary Duelists or by the use of Duel Orbs/Boosted Duel Orbs.

Elements Unite is perfect for lvl 30 with some card draw (just don't add low def flip effects or monsters, Earthquake + Driceratops will destroy you.), but for level 40 it's too inconsistent. For lvl 40, use the labyrynth builder deck above and always target solidarity (which will give Rex a max atk of 3000 once you destroy it), have anti magic arrows to negate the trap card the last turn and GG.

Funny you say that as my experience has been the opposite. I had bad luck each attempt at lev 40 rex with Lab builder, and by contrast have won each battle with both 30 and 40 Rex with elements unite...

rex raptor spawn rate is insane. it's like he is spawning instantly after i stoppped playing for a minutes. too bad the drop cards is disappointing.

Have you just started? Because it feels like if you didn't play for a while he will just insta respawn, kinda making up for the fact that you might have missed a spawn if you know what I mean. Not sure though but when I started this morning he spawned 5 times in a row and now he is there every like 15-20 minutes I guess.

no. i played immediately after maintenance and didn't leave the game more than ~15 minutes. yes i experienced that instant spawn at super joey and mokuba event after i leave the game for a long time.

yeah I'm pretty happy with the spawn rate on this one. maybe enough people complained about the other events. but you're right, his drop cards aren't going to set the world on fire

Are the new Standard Duelists a virus or something or just part of the new update? I've been on lvl 60 forever now and standard Duelists at lvl 57 I've memorized every deck but since the update today I'm seeing new decks I've never seen before and one even had nothing but blank cards so not sure what's going on.

on lvl 30 rex if your using elements unite watch out for earthquake and his tribute monster it will inflict piercing damage

Have anyone battle SD with zombie deck? It seems still under construction since there's a card "Call of the Mummy" but without any picture, just like a token card without picture.

it might be one of the deck that will be use in upcoming "new world" though

Just use standard Element Unite! against Lv30 Rex with lots of draw power (I use 3x White Elephants Gift, 2x Shard of Greed and 3x Good Goblin Housekeeping - similar effect to Crystal Seer + draw power). Keep Anti Magic Arrow just for safety.

I use standard Unhappy Girl with Holy Guard deck for lv40 with some draw power too (shard, good goblin, seer) cuz Rex draw fast too. Atk his monsters ASAP with the girl and summon all girl before 2 cards left in the deck. I use normal Fusion for Master of Oz (not Serket version). When only a card left in the deck, Tribute 2 girl for Big Koala, leave only 1 girl on field that has disabled all Rex's monster and then proceed to fusion him. Last turn, just proceed with Vassal + Union/Piranha + Martyr. Not sure if use Piranha will get how much points.

When I use Vassal + Girl + Oz + Union I got 9900 dmg so maybe get some card that increase atk.

apperantly because SO many ppl whine so much about drop rates, konami decided that this time everyone will get their awards thanks!!! whiners and crybabies! from now on everyone will get the same cards!!horray!!

It's good that everyone gas the same card. It doesn't mean they will use the same deck. Even they use the same deck doesn't mran they use same style. Even they use same deck&style doesn't mean they have the same exactly win rate.

9 Month and you don't have the drop skills. WTF? How many keys did you spend like per color? Because I know while Tea is a B**** with her Spells I usually farm her for skills and she drops so many. Spend like 3k keys per character, but obviously I don't have the same amount as you do.

Do you not have drop skills cause you hardly ever use that character? The only characters I think I got all drops skills is Kaiba and Paradox Brothers.

Been playing almost 3 months. Really not that hard.
