Would be good alongside other Noble Knight monsters because most of the main deck monsters are LIGHT Warrior-types. Shield Bearer is also a Noble Knight monster so he will share their support.

Seems legit, great card but not really popular as far as I know.

...And that 1 card you drew was Silent Swordsman, you then sent this card to the grave and SS SSwordsman, then you crash him into enemy to get SSwordsman LV 8 out, then.., then.., then...you won

Not errata, Konami gave DL the anime version before they actually print it in real life with buffed effect, but never bother to update the card in DL.

Real card effect:
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can banish 1 LIGHT monster from your GY; draw 1 card. You can banish this card from your hand or field; add 1 Level 6 or lower WIND Beast monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Noble Knight's Shield-Bearer" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

As a Noble Knight player, this card is really, really bad. The deck is already KOG worthy, so why make it worse Konami? If Shield Bearer was a tuner monster, then he'd be a whole lot better, a lot.

Keep in mind Shield Bearer appeared in the anime long before Noble Knights were a thing IRL.

They removed more than half of its effect for duel links. It was supposed to be A LOT better, as well as centaur mina

This card is like impossible to get from the card trader. I NEVER see it. I have 1 copy from something but it's the only SR i still need from the CT and it never shows up at all

The fact you need to waste a normal summon and leave a 800 atk vulnerable just to get a tiny bit of draw power means it will probably never see any use in anything really. In a Noble Knight deck you would rather summon Brothers or Medraud, not to mention even allocating space for him would be tricky. After that what, lightsworn? They have enough issues decking out already.

All in all, packfiller trash. Or In duel links case, the UR from an event.

Yeah, this card is crap. Also makes it even less likely that we'll get Sherry considering this is yet another one of her cards. (Although the chance is already very low to begin with, the moment we get Chevalier de Fleur in a box....)

3 repeated events for a GX LGBT character, something never done before, instead of GX beautiful girls that would fit events, which become screenshots only.

Goddeses like Sherry and Misty have all their cards put in boxes as a good way to say "duck you" to whoever loved these characters.

Playing this game as a straight guy has been difficult.

I don't see how your being straight matters here. It's not like you can have a relationship with a fictional character in a game like this anyway. So regardless of who they're into, you have zero chance. (Which is probably true IRL, too, but that's beside the point.)
