Must use same Attribute HERO monster as catalyst to Special Summon.

Tips

Important to note that Mask Change cannot be used during Damage Step.
If your targeted HERO monster leaves your Field due to other card’s effects, when Mask Change was activated, you may not Special Summon Masked HERO Vapor. Possible scenarios include Enemy Controller chained to your Mask Change, in order to take control of your targeted HERO monster.
You can use Mask Change on your Masked HERO Vapor during your battle phase, to Special Summon another Masked HERO Vapor, for possible OTK.

It's because you can't read Vapor's text, apparently.

You can only summon it with masked change.

Only time I ever use this card was when I was farming Yubel.....Vapor Vassal works really well against Yubel's deck.

i used the play that card until e i realized its 🔥.power of guardians bricks lots of time plus with this backrow removal its horse crap.i dont remember 1 duel when this decided a thing or maybe one out of 1000.

It certainly helps, but you still have to beware abyss solider and citadel whale paired with mako's umi skill.

With Legendary Ocean yes, with Umi it's a few points short

The thing is, most of the SSA decks I've seen run mako with umi skill and that doesn't boost him over whale

Good against Sea Stealth Attack the only issue is that it's not bigger than the Whale unless the opponent is running Legendary Ocean and not the Umi skill ... it gets to 2600 with LO with is bigger than whale but the cost is that you'd have to play either bubbleman or ice edge and both are pretty weak on their own

True, but you need more than just 3 targets for mask change. Unless i'm forgetting something, your only options are ice edge, bubbleman, and blazeman (his effect can copy the water attribute).

3 Ocean and 1-2 Ice Edge is probably enough honestly.
