BB69 | Titan Showdown | Dec 27 |
A comment from BB69:
This deck is basically stall and draw till u have trunade-lava golem-seal, use trunade then lava golem, then take back the goelm and farm for 6k damage. Paleo cards are so good at both drawing and defending, if u cant use titan showdown summon 1 paleo in your opponent end phase. This deck only struggles vs yubel.

BaamBaam | Parasite Infestation | Dec 2 |
A comment from BaamBaam:
Parasite Infestation is the MVP
This deck is ment to be used to stop SpellBooks, Bujins and vampires. You are going to play this deck as a normal Masked Heroes deck, make sure to force the opponent to waste must of his backrow (Paleozoic decks are easy if you play smart), cyclones are there to protect your monsters, don’t go offensive if you are not ready.
When playing vs SB, Bujins, Silent Magician or even Noble Knights you must use Jade Insect Whistle as soon as possible to stop their combos (spellbooks players usually time out when Parasite Paracide is on the field). When playing vs Vampires I recomend to save JIW and use it when your opponent’s HP is really low. WoD is ment to be used to stop banish decks and also the combination of WoD + Canadia and Parasite Paracide usually deck out Fur Hire decks.

Gohjira | Sealed Tomb | Dec 6 |
A comment from Gohjira:
I prefer Sealed Tombs over balance is because it completely shuts down Spellbooks, Vampires and to some extend BEWD, also I don't brick often even if I brick I have plenty of op traps to fall back on. You can replace econ with either trunade, destiny draw or chalice; I chose econ because helps with many clutch moments

Overhaul | Sealed Tomb | Dec 7 |
A comment from Overhaul:
Sealed Tombs shuts down Vampires, Spell Books, Silvers Cry and wins Mirror Matches easily vs other Masked Heroes Decks thanks to Offerings to the Doomed. Draw Phase might get skipped but you have enough Draw Power in this Deck with 2 Celestia and Destiny Draw.
2 Xing Zhen Hu can be used but straight flush helps vs decks who set 3 backrows all the time which Anki struggles with. Got to Kog in a few hours with this. Not a standard Balance Hero build but it works really good.

DrHeisenberg | Fields of the Warriors | Dec 16 |
A comment from DrHeisenberg:
After losing too many duels using Vampires, I switched back to Masked Hero. I tried to unlock Tristan's skill "Reload" by playing Tristan using "Fields of the Warriors". Actually, this skill worked out very well combined with Heroes pushing them to 1800 respectively 3000 ATK. Three Cosmic Cyclones and one Galaxy Cyclone were essential for dealing with heavy backrows.
Offerings to the Doomed were MVP vs. Yubel, Blue Eyes, and many other decks. While Offerings to the Doomed makes you skip your next Draw Phase, you can avoid not being able to draw a card by using Celestial's effect. This is why I put two Celestials. Using just three trap cards worked out very well, too. Hardest opponents were Spellbooks.

nazwert | Fields of the Warriors | Dec 19 |
A comment from nazwert:
I tried to use balance and found myself getting screwed from op traps and not being able to comeback. I also tried parasite infestation but it didn’t feel consistent. I switched to field of warriors just to try it out and ranked straight up from legends rank 1 to KOG. While offering skips your draw phase offering helps stop combos and helps take out their big beaters.
DNA surgery shits down Cipher soldier, Bujin and Spellbooks. Karakuri ninja is there as a substitute offering and if they don’t attack it can direct which helps. I also decided to go with Econ over another celestial for the extra utility which really came in clutch. Back up rider is there for drilldark for the extra piercing damage and for Anki for the 2150 direct. Only matchup I lost was a mirror but that was because they got three mask changes on their first turn.

fezflash | Balance | Dec 29 |
A comment from fezflash:
How to use it : obviously balance is the skill most recommended because it helps you to have 1 or 2 mask change in your first hand, a trap and a monster so you can easy OTK your opponent. This deck is the deadliest on the game right now, the only thing you have to worry about are the Silent Magicians but you can avoid them easily whit a strong backrow.

Itekuro | Draw Sense: High Level | Dec 28 |
A comment from Iteguro:
The deck is really strong going second, being able to destroy any card on your opponent's field, no matter if it's set or face up. It is actually really easy to OTK as Megalo is able to attack twice most of the time, and the skill is here to guarantee you a Megalo next turn. Pretty good match-up against Blue Eyes and D-Heroes, but might have some trouble goung first against vamps.

Jimbob | Draw Sense: Light | Dec 8 |
A comment from Jimbob:
Adding Jinzo into this deck worked a treat this season.
Was up & down from plat 5 with original build from last season but this tech shut down many problems (WoD, Drowning mirror force & TTH mainly), allowing more freedom to attack.
Would aim to set up with Meradut, protect with Drystan + Destiny / Sphere kuribo, then summon Jinzo with Drystan as tribute where possible. Arf to clear back row, especially good equipped to D Heroes. Generally forces premature mask change, so you can then pop Anki with Drystan equip & effect.
As is the case with all decks, timing is everything! Hold on to quick play spells in case you get flipped face down (most times) and draw damage to pull next Knight from deck with skill.

Wanheda | Mythic Depths | Dec 7 |
A comment from Wanheda:
The deck consists of placing the whale in the field as quickly as possible to seek the sneak attack. With mermail's the deck gains a power of otk. The Atlanteans serve to clear the adversary's field.

Decided to take out a controller because of the constant bricks, also removed tth to decrease fishborg misses and replaced Wayne in the extra deck for armades. Hammer shark wasn't very useful BTW.

A comment from xdynamitevx:
Never attack directly with Silent Magician if there is backrow because of Drowning Mirror Force. Against Vampires negate their continuous spell. Hardest duels were against undine decks.

Twisted † Fate | Destiny Draw | Dec 7 |
A comment from Twisted † Fate:
Silent Swordsman Returns with the help of Paleozoic Family. And thanks to The SR Tickets I have 3 Monarchs Awaken. Same Gameplay like last season with the help of Yugi's Destiny Draw. This is a very competitive deck especially against Vampires Blue Eyes and UA. OTK potential with stall from Paleozoics. Just Use them wisely.

King of Card | Fields of the Warriors | Dec 21 |
A comment of King of Card:
This deck's goal is to get silent swordsman lvl 5 out as soon as possible. I have chosen field of warriors for skill to get silent swordsman lvl 5 to 2500 base attack or 4000 attack with silent sword slash. Protect snowman with ur traps and activate snowmans effect to destroy opponent's monster during ur turn.
After that, you can tribute it for swordsman lvl 5. Use sss on swordsman lvl 5 for the win. Dynatherium can also be used to get swordsman lvl 5 out fast. Canadia is a great trap card in the current meta and can act as a tribute fodder. Alternatively, u can use powerful rebirth on swordsman lvl 3 when your opponent has ended his turn to lvl up instantly to lvl 5. Monarch awakens is viable for swordsman lvl 5 and witch raider. You pretty much win the duel, if u use the card correctly.

A comment from boostace:
Note : Just a purely OTK deck around the "silent swordman". Can also be viable with Grift or Duel , standby!
