A comment from Humnoi 100%:
This deck can go against any deck if you can remove their backrow like spell trap set and they only have one monster no kuriboh then you can OTK them try to go second if you can use Hurricane to remove them all!! and use Dragunity Aklys destroy one monster and OTK them.
Most problem deck I have ever face it's Silent Spell Book Blue Eye Spell book and Armades Deck and worst thing about this deck if you can't OTK you will be like 70% lose.

A comment from CalicoJack:
Dragunity !!!! Simply an OTK Deck ! If you play 2nd is easy, use the Torando,Typhon's to destroy spell's or use the Divine Lance to make your varjayana combo for otk ! I use Peak Perfomance because is enough for an otk 4200 atk (for varjayana ) and you make all your others monsters stronger for more defensive play ( in a hard matchup)!
If you play 1st you can syncro summon Gae Dulg to find make the preperatios( hand and gy) for the next turn OR Gae Bulg to have a monster with strong Atk ( 3500-3700 with the banish effect) , You can also play a combo with alkys and Cyclone! And of course the stonger traps in the game Mirror Force and Treacherous.

A comment from ZaneCyber:
The deck is pretty straightforward, I thought Hieraric was a great engine and a way to reach KOG while being in character for Yugi Muto.
Basically use hieratics to summon the Hieratic Egg again and again from déck then graveyard. Use Advance Draw and White Elephant Gift on it to draw through your whole deck. Variant would be replacing one of the level 5 besides Eset with Galaxy Dragon. Dragon can be tributes face down so you do not fear floodgate or Canadia.

A comment from Hagoromo:
This month i reached KOG with Fur Hires.
With a strong backrow this deck is really strong, probably even stronger than Masked Hero. Universe is really strong in this meta: keep in mind that you can activate it during damage step, also many meta monsters have low defense (Vamp monsters but Anki and LV8 Silent Magician too).
P.S. I would probaly substitute 2 wall with 2 Floodgate if i had them :)

A comment from Vayu:
Very consistent and had problems with the start hand, i got great results against hero and vampire, the use of three Recon was essential according to the meta, my only difficulty was against blue-eyes because of the attack of monsters, taking that was very simples and fast. Tu!

A comment from ShiiroSora:
Notes: Well its kinda easy deck. Just play around with to find your style. If you cant win stall till he decks out with 2 offerings just before you deck out. Offerings are also helpfull with jinzo or anti-trap.
If he has 1-2 backrow you can go with cosmic cyclone and the go full in and negate the other one with Wiz's effect. Use sealed tombs if he plays a deck that SS from grave like BEWD or Vamps, or when galaxy cyclone is in grave. Same with Dyna.

El Potro | The Tie that Binds | Dec 25 |
A comment from El Potro:
So after trying different decks and tweaks (namely my previous Alien one, BE Cosmo Brain, Cipher Soldier, and Parasite burn), and almost always bricking with them for some dumb reason, I landed back on my old Fur Hire deck.
I had to modify it to account for the limited cards, but overall it worked like a charm. Mayhem Fur Hire one of the MVPs, as it allowed me to have a monster ready if I only opened with one and it was destroyed, or to activate their effects during end phases. Backrow control was effective as well, with Gyokkou in there to have a small boost for Seal and Dyna, and Wiz doing her thing as usual.
The deck did pretty good against all the top tiers, even when opening with a crappy hand. The only real problems I faced were against Yubel (remember to flip Terror Incarnate face down and destroy it with Recon's effect) and Buster Blader DNA; and then again, it was mostly because I was unlucky.

Broimatti | Balance | Dec 19 |
A comment from Broimatti:
Third KOG in a row with the very same deck. But this was my hardest, most frustrating but in the end most rewarding KoG ever!
I had a very good streak in the second day of the new season: KoG rankup match at 29 cumulative wins. But I lost, fell back straight to legend 1 and couldn‘t manage to get back up with geargia. So I tried some different decks: BEWD (which often bricks), Spellbooks (which for me also bricks a lot), Buster Blader (which also bricks), Vampire (went well but couldn‘t keep up the winning streaks), Beatdown-Fusion-Heros (which worked very well for me, almost got KoG but I couldn‘t get the streaks going).
I also tried some old decks like Archfiend, SSA, Sylvan and even CA. I even got to legend 3 sometimes, just to fall back to legend 1 again. Then I said f**k it, let‘s try geargia again. At first it was a bit disappointing because the meta is so diverse at the moment there are so many decks which you just can‘t prepare against all. Finally I somehow managed to make it to KoG in 270 (!) wins - almost 10 times as much as my first kog rankup match this month.
Easiest matches were still vampires, heroes and banish control, hardest included yubel, spellbooks, non spellbook silent magician, bujin, dragunity, buster blader. Biggest threats: Canadia, TTH, DNA operation, trunade if you don‘t have pulse mines, silent magician and yubel. Stardust dragon turned out to be much less frightening than expected, because it‘s vulnerable to SRH.

MikiRaine | Destiny Draw | Dec 7 |
A comment from MikiRaine:
The initial goal of this deck is to special summon gemknights as many as possible along with a single GK Lapis Lazuli. If you manage to special summon 3 gem knights in a turn, that is instant 1500 damage to your opponent. And then you wait it out for your next turn: you must not attack if there are set cards in the opponent's field as the current meta relies on wall of disruption and many anti attack cards. But if there is none, you can attack for a potential win.
Then for your next turn activate the effect of GK Lapis Lazuli for another 1500 damage. Then special summon GK Master Diamond using GK Lapis Lazuli as one of Fusion Materials and use the effect of GKMD for another 1500 effect damage. Instant win in one to three turns.
What's different :
Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell. Synergised with recycable GK Fusion card. Powerful against Buster, Vampire, Mask Hero and Spell books.
Solemn Scolding. Counter trap card with game winning effect. Synergised with Destiny Draw for the Grass card, GK Fusion or a Triamid Pulse.

M. S. 563 | Trap Layer | Dec 23 |
A comment from M. S. 563:
Note : I bricked too much at the beginning of season but I tried again and again and again. I was working on my Gladiator Beast Deck until I made this version.Very good against meta decks. Floodgate and Canadia shut down the dangerous monsters.
Wall of Disruption helps very much against the current meta that swarm the field. Widespread Ruin is also helpful against Anki. Imp Attack help protect your defense position monsters . "Trap Layer" Skill help reducing the brick of starting hand.

A comment from Olegod:
The main combo is special summoning Dynatherium or Blackwing - Gust the Blackblast and then normal summon Peryton (or even Sphinx depending on the situation) in order to fill your field and probably winning the duel by OTK. Use Sphere Kuriboh for defense ans Mantikor to beat high attack monsters and avoid card effetcs.

Just reached kog 3 hours before the end of season thanks to the cards in the new box. Use the balance skill to draw the combination to summon maximus as soon as possible.
