RatingB-

Pros

  • Good attack stat.
  • Gains effects depending on monster used as tribute.

Cons

  • Effects he can gain are not really that good, especially with Batteryman C.
  • Low defense.
  • Does not have Batteryman in his name, therefore misses out on most Batteryman support.

Tips

Batteryman

When you tribute Batteryman monsters to summon Super-Electromagnetic Voltech Dragon he will gain various effects. Of the 3 effects he can gain, the most valuable might be the protection from spell/trap cards by tributing Batteryman D. Next would be the attack boost from Batteryman AA. You can send Batteryman D, Batteryman C, or Batteryman AA to the graveyard with Batteryman Solar and tribute him to summon Super-Electromagnetic Voltech Dragon with your chosen effect.

The card is admittedly awful but I'm just so in love with the concept of a thunder-boss monster that "feeds" on batteries. It was also the boss monster for Thunder-types for years until we got Industrial Strength and the Thunder Dragons this year. Going to make a deck for him, for fun.
