Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

Necrovalley remains to this day, a solid anti-meta card to a lot of deck.

I'm not surprised if Konami would make it available only 1 copy if they do release it.

Weewil burn will have difficulties to continue to be meta without cards like draining shield, massivemorph, floodgate etc...
Sylvans, spellbooks, d-heroes and noble knights will dominate the meta
Cyber angel could be great again
And probably, but i'm not sure of that, horus could also be great again since jinzo is coming, probably a deck with horus and jinzo will enter in the meta

I’m using my Silent Magician deck combined with Horus and rn I’m waiting for Jinzo to be unstoppable. I’m thinking to build a Silent Swordsman and Jinzo deck. That way, only monster effects can be played. That’s the future meta.

Duel Links is shooting itself in the face with these stupid boring 🔥 decks. How is it even fun or a challenge anymore? I haven't PVP'd in months because 80%+ of the time it's fu*cking god damn boring duels with repetitive "meta" decks. The game was more fun in the early days.
