Based on the given quote we can assume that the new unlockable duelist will be Yubel whose personality mainly revolves around her love for Jaden as its owner. Another evidence is the leaked Mat and Sleeve of Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare.

A New Development in Yugioh Duel links. This could likely be the addition of 5D's, the third series of YuGiOh into Duel Links like how GX was added late last year. With the addition of 5D's World comes the addition new characters, events, cards, and the Synchro summoning mechanic.

Yeah yeah we want obelisk, zane and synchros. but i think this game needs a "super judai/jaden" event, we don't have all e-heros of judai (mudballman neither rampart) and we need more e-heros support like shinig flare wingman, elixirer, the shining, necroid shaman, nova master, and neos support like convert contact, airneos, chaos neos (the mole is too much right now)

Prisma is not at all a e-hero, his universal, it can be used in any fusion deck.

Toon Dark Magician Girl is not yet available through methods other than the Welcome to Toon World event, so either the event should return or she should be available in some other manner.

Jinzo is coming. Took awhile but it might still be able to see some play.

Was hoping the July unlock was a new character but it looks like it's just another chance to get Syrus for those that missed the event. Along with maybe some new cards and skills for him.

Man I'm really bummed out that we still havn't gotten the Shadow Riders. Mainly Atticus so I can Darkness and Darkness Metal Dragons.

In the code says 2 zanes and jaden/yubel, no supreme king (sadly) but i think season 4 jaden.

Ra and Yami Marik, like all other event exclusives, has only had enough events when all players has it. So if another player has joined after the latest event, then it is only fair that it will return at some point.

Just add marik to the gate and when you unlock it, comes with ra and problem solved.

Is it too much to hope that the D.D. Tower: Dark Dimension Event character would be Yubel?

I was glad to see she already has voice files in game, so hopefully she'd be introduced eventually.

If we can't get Zane anytime soon, at least give us Yubel. It's kinda disappointing they're just recycling Jessie and Cyrus so close to the last events.

This 5Ds hype give me an idea about PvP survival mode. The rules is similar to WRGP :
1. Player have to create a team with their friends
2. Each team contain 3 members with different characters and decks
3. Team members will share the field, but not graveyard and extra deck
4. If a team member loses, his teammate will continuing the duel
5. Team that able to defeat all opposing members win the duel

I don't think a lot gonna play that game mode. if you want something related to anime, just make a game mode using the speed world 2 activated and using it's effects like the yugioh world championship from ds.

People are always going to whine and complain. Even if they released every single duelist from every single series, we'd be getting crap like "WHY ISN'T ROLAND UNLOCKABLE!?!?". Complaining about the complaints does nothing, nor does conceding to the endless list of demands.
