This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned unless you have an Archfiend Monster Card on your side of the field. The controller of this card pays 800 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). When this card is targeted by the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 2 or 5, negate the effect and destroy the opponent's card. The effects of an Effect Monster that this card destroyed as a result of battle are negated.

Paying almost 25% of my lp per turn for a nomi monster with unreliable protection? How about NO
I said "almost 25%" (keyword being almost) if you're going to correct people do it without resorting to petty insults and name calling. This site isn't meant for lectures on English, don't change the subject and just the leave future comments about this card and nothing else unless it's yugioh related.
Go ruin someone else's thread with your English garbage. You might be here to critique other's grammar but the majority of us (myself included) want to discuss and make comments on the cards in this game without some anon going on a grammar tangent. LEAVE. US. ALONE. Troublemaker....
This is the worst card in the pack. Now this is something that actually deserves a 3 or a 4 out of 10, since basically 2000atk is too weak for a level 4 monster and can't be targeted with your own effects unless you roll a die. Poor souls the ones that get this crap.
Nothing's stopping you from Special Summoning it without an Archfiend. (You could run something like A Rival Appears! or Hidden Soldiers if you really wanted to.) It's a rather solid monster, despite the downsides. I'd say it's more than worth the risk in an Archfiend deck. Also, you could just Set it and revive it with Desrook Archfiend when they attack over it.
use transmodify on doomdog octhros to summon this, or if this is in your hand summon trance archfiend. you also get to grab archfiend emperor or necrofear. with palabrynth you keep a constant stream of beatsticks and boss monsters. fiends aare gonna be strong when these release.
