TypeSpell Card

Send 2 face-up monsters you control to the Graveyard (1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuners) whose total Levels equal 7, then Special Summon both 1 'Power Tool Dragon' and 1 'Ancient Fairy Dragon' in face-up Defense Position from your Extra Deck.

  • Summons 2 Synchro monsters for the price of 1.

  • Can be situational.
  • Only works with 2 specific Synchro monsters.

Synchro Monsters

Power Tool Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon are good in their own way. Summoning the other for free when you're trying to summon one gives you more bang for your buck. However, they do not interact with each other in any way.

Tuner and Non-Tuner

Normal Summon Morphtronic Scopen and use its effect to Special Summon a level-4 Morphtronic monster. Normal Summon Trident Warrior and use its effect to Special Summon a level-3 Tuner. Normal Summon Debris Dragon and use its effect to Special Summon a level-3 non-Tuner with 500 or less attack.

I mean, in a way it’s like getting two Synchro monsters for one synchro summon. I know lots of people aren’t impressed or interested in Ancient Fairy Dragon or Power Tool Dragon, but I bet there are people out there that will make a great deck with this card.....and one of those people will be me

Dio, your reign of terror ends here!!!

Double Ripple, Hamon Overdrive !!!
kinda useful
not bad
Anyone have any good ideas for combos with this card? Instead of just synchro summoning 1 of the dragons you get to bring out 2 with the same tuner and non-tuner, but I'm trying to think what else you can do once you bring out Ancient Fairy and Power Tool

I'm curious too.

You can try to summon another Tuner and Synchro Summon a Level 8+ Synchro monster after you have activated PTD's or AFD's effect.

The best combo is obviously to summon a Rank 7 Xyz monster but we'll have to wait a few months till we get ZeXal world.
Not that good

It's actually better than the anime effect.

Speaking of this card.....why Gamea has 2 different pages for Double Ripple lol

As I expected, Double Ripple has Tag Force effect.

Meaning the AFD-PTD specific effect, not the anime effect.
This is the anime effect lol, change that.

actually good!
Unless I’m misunderstanding the card, then it sounds like you and your opponent could get a Synchro monster summoned just like that. Why would you want to help out your opponent like that? It’s definitely not talking about this Power Tool Dragon or Ancient Fairy Dragon stuff that everyone is saying in the comment section

The effect depicted in the sample is the anime´s. Since Leo basically used it to summon both PTD and AFD from his deck and his sister´s respectively, in the Tag Force series the effect was changed to that: if you control the needed monsters to bust out a Lv. 7 Synchro, you can summon PTD and AFD in defense mode. Guess Konami will implement the same effect in Duel Links.
Everyone’s saying 2 for 1, but both players get their own respective synchro monsters unless I’m still misunderstanding?

Well, it depends on whether we get the anime effect or the Tag Force effect.

In the anime, it was you and your opponent, but this card was used in a Tag Duel, and you can consider your tag partner as an opponent in the anime, meaning your side gets both monsters.

So the Tag Force effect makes it so that you Special Summon both Power Tool and Ancient Fairy from your own Extra Deck instead.
