You do know the sacred can beat the Egyptian God's the wicked can beat the sacred the nordics card beat the wicked the wickeds and Nordic God's both from 5ds btw the number cards from zexal can beat all of them and finally the dragons that yuya gets from yuto yugo and Yuri can beat almost anything when all four are together idk bout the new one yet haven't seen it so unsure

Gamea use the blue card version in this article for some reason, instead of the effect version.

The main reason people want this card released very badly is not cause its the last of the god cards but because they foolishly believe konami is going to give them total immunity, which we all know realistically they will not!

Konami will keep everything else the same for Obelisk but take away the immunity part minus turn he is summoned but likely give is a Seto Kaiba skill to go along with his effect.

Because is immune to spell/trap not like slifer and ra he is only Egyptian God that he can't be targeted by spell/trap card

Also obelisk have fixed ATK 4000 the other god has gimmick situation to increase their ATK .

You can actually play this card if you use "Symbols of Duty" to trade your normal monster with Obelisk when He's in Yugi Graveyard, then use "Access Denied" to lock him from killing himself in the end phase.

Obelisk cannot be targeted by Spells while on the field though, which makes me wonder if that means Symbols of Duty would selfdestruct....and if it does, it's taking Obelisk with it before the end phase.

Symbols of Duty'll continue to be equipped to Obelisk. (And if it leaves the field, it will destroy Obelisk since the destruction effect doesn't target.) Being unable to select something as a target doesn't matter if the target's already BEEN selected.
