Stardust Dragon has the abilitiy to leave the field when he negates your opponent’s effect destruction. This resets all the debuffs he has accumulated. Additionally he could be hard to get rid of with his effect destruction negation with Trust Guardian’s battle protection.
Use Reverse Trap to temporarily get rid of the stat drain from Trust Guardian and instead increase your attack by the same amount.
Lets you take no damage from battle especially when your Synchro monster already has a lot of accumulated debuff.
