This is primarily a burn deck, but with some milling aspects. Milling allows you increase the effectiveness of the skill Shadow Game to burn your opponent.
It is best to have Skull Invitation face up when you send cards to your opponent's graveyard as it will help you deal a lot of damage. Warm Worm and Skull Invitation make an excellent combo, when Warm Worm is destroyed he sends the top 3 cards of your opponent's deck to the graveyard, causing Skull Invitation to damage them 900 life points with Shadow Game dealing additional damage during the end phase.
Yomi Ship can help with reducing the number of monsters on your opponent's side of the field, this will help trigger Skull Invitation's damage, but be careful as this would also damage you.
A good combo to use is using Jowls of Dark Demise to take your opponent's monster then destroy it with Assault on GHQ along with the top 2 cards of their deck. Use this during your opponent's turn when they attack you set Jowls of Dark Demise. Take control of their strongest monster to force them to end the battle phase, then destroy the controlled monster with Assault on GHQ during the end phase.
Another thing is that when your field is full and Jowls of Dark Demise is flipped, instead of taking control of a monster, the monster selected would be destroyed.
Stalling turn would be important to help you gather the cards for your combos.
Windstorm of Etaqua is an excellent defensive choice since changing all of your opponent's battle position would most likely force him to end the battle phase.
A Feint Plan would also be a good choice since all of your monsters should be played face down, meaning your opponent cannot attack unless they have a monster that is able to attack directly.
Other useful cards
For cards that can be used in any deck check the link below.
Can provide additional damage by attacking your opponent directly. Can't be destroyed in battle unless you set it since it returns to your hand at the End Phase when you summoned it.
Also a monster that can survive to attacks. Similar to Big Shield Gardna but with lesser defense.

What makes this kind of deck hard to beat is not the burn but the deck out. Shadow Game skill or not, there are too many cards that stall and in a 20 card format, it becomes almost impossible to win.
A pretty fun burn deck to play, but this's a too old and slow, and there was only one person getting to KOG with this.
Anyone has an update to this Shadow Game deck?
