For Shiranui after the new banlist, I found this version to perform the best against the current meta. As “That Grass Looks Greener” is now limited, we have to go back to the 20-card deck.
Shiranui can now run virtually without skill, choosing a skill only further open new possibilities for the deck.
Currently, the best skills are “Mighty as Fire” for extra ATK, as it pairs well with Cosmic Cyclone, or “No Mortal Can Resist”, to highly disrupt enemy’s play, as this skill literally kills off every single meta deck right now, if you choose it then it is advised to run more back row for more control-oriented plays.
For me, I stick to “Level Augmentation”, it allows for turboing a Sunsaga from your first turn, which I found to be crucial in Blue-eyes matchup.
For most matchups, I can say that your win chance is often decided by your tech cards, which fortunately Shiranui can run quite many.

Raigeki Break would be my MVP, as it can be a great setup (Sending your Spectralsword to grave) or combo extender and also being able to pop a card, generating a +1 advantage.
Also I recommend getting some more copies of Divine Wrath in this monster effect heavy meta if you go for a control-oriented deck.

Golden Sarcophagus would be crucial in winning certain matchups, such as Dark Magician and Elementsabers. If you don’t have it, Sphere Kuriboh, Forbidden Lance or another Floodgate would suffice.
Finally, with the release of the new mini box, Ballista Squad would be a nice addition.
A good Shiranui deck is like a toolbox, it is not like a typical deck with a go-to formula or certain win conditions. You adapt to the situation as the deck would have all tools you need. So play safe and think about all possibilities before doing anything!
