You can only Special Summon "Shiranui Squiresaga(s)" once per turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 face-up monster you control or in your GY, then apply these effects, in sequence, depending on what the monster was before it was banished, if it was any of these.
● Zombie: You can have all monsters you control gain 300 ATK.
● FIRE: You can destroy 1 Spell/Trap on the field.
● Synchro: You can destroy 1 monster on the field.

Tips

Summoning

Normal Summon Shiranui Squire or Shiranui Spiritmaster and use their effect to Special Summon Shiranui Spectralsword Shade. Since Shiranui Squiresaga only requires generic Synchro materials, you also have some out of archetype options like Trident Warrior plus a level-3 Tuner but you will miss out on easy graveyard setup.

The Shiranui archetypes main strategy is banishing their own monsters and triggering their effects, usually this is done by other Shiranui monsters as effect cost. Shiranui Squiresaga can banish other Shiranui monsters, from your graveyard preferably, for a slight attack boost and more importantly backrow removal and monster removal.

Can anyone explain to me, wtf it is written "once per turn" but one dude just re summoned this from his graveyard and used to destroy up to 4 my cards! Also why I can't activate anything in response to this sh!t? It is just unfair

It's effect is actually soft once per turn. As long as you can brought this card back to the field after being destroyed or leaves the field with any kind of removal, you can activate the effect again during the same turn.

They made this useless one UR while the useful one as an R so it can get a banlist. lol

This is actually one of the more useful Shiranui synchro due to being generic lol

She can be used in any FIRE/Zombie/Synchro decks, and her effects are not bad either for a generic card.

But her base stat is way too low. Banishing once only bumps her attack to 2400. Losing to Dark Magician. Losing to all Neos fusion too.

If you use her outside Shiranui, your deck most likely can include an ATK booster anyway.

Is there any reason you cannot activate Red-Eyes Spirit in response to this card?

Why does this card function like a Night Beam?

Because it doesn't target.

Hence the Ultra Rare status of this card.

You must activate your cards when they activate Squire's effect.
If you wait they will destroy your spell/trap without prompting you to activate them anymore.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yeah I didn't realize it didn't target. I'm going to try implementing Shiranui Squirex3 and the spectralsword package into my decks as the new form of backrow removal.

And because of me a new overpowered player was born.

Be wary of the ban list though.

Wait and see if they limit Shirainui before you buy any card. Konami isn't likely to sell many of the current boxes which is the perfect time to nerf them, and then release a new box to milk everyone who wish to stay competitive.

If you play this deck with backrow, it can get rid of Purgatrio easily.

We got Squire and Squiresaga, but too bad her latest form Skillsaga Supremacy won't be in DL for a long while, since it's a Link monster.
