Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps, or card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the Graveyard. You can Tribute 2 monsters; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. This card cannot declare an attack the turn this effect is activated.

Or you could use different dimension capsule. I use it in my Ra farming deck. The only problem is if it gets destroyed first.

anti magic arrows is better

To stop the obelisk by those traps: Floodgate Trap hole and Widespread ruin. Effect monster: yomi ship, exploder dragon, D.d. Warrior. Also, counter trap: divine wrath or ultimate providence when obelisk is activate effect.

I don't think this dude will be that easy to summon, but yeah... d.d warrior seems to be one of the best counters because it can be played in control decks.

Can't floodgate Obelisk, unless it was Flip Summoned or Special Summoned.

But yeah Obelisk is not hard to counter.

Heck if Aquaactress deck manage to set up, the little fishes can have enough ATK to easily beat Obelisk in battle.

Better question - how do you summon it? You need 3 monsters to survive until your next turn... but 3x1400 ATK = lethal...
