Magicalized Fusion

Future Fusion uses materials from your deck, making the cost much lighter. Additionally it can be used to pitch Spellcasters to your graveyard. Magicalized Fusion Lets you use Spellcasters in your graveyard as material for summoning Quintet Magician.

Good at supporting Spellcaster decks because of her draw effect and generic Magician Girl effect. The draw effect also loads your graveyard with Spellcaster monsters to use for Magicalized Fusion.

Gravekeeper

Gravekeepers are quite good at loading the graveyard with Gravekeeper’s Spy, Gravekeeper’s Nobleman, and Gravekeeper’s Recruiter. They are an archetype of all Spellcaster monsters so both Future Fusion and Magicalized Fusion can be good. However Necrovalley can interfere with activating Magicalized Fusion.

From what DKayed recently said in his video on x-saber you can negate a monster's summon.
If you do they are considered 'has never actually been face up on the field. For Champion Vigilance on Quintet this means the latter won't field wipe and he is not indestructible as he must be 'face up' for this effect.

While you are correct, that is rarely going to be useful to know for Quintet Magician, given the only Summon of his you can negate is his Flip Summon.

Isn't quintet special summoned by card effect ? Pretty sure negate summon only works on monster that special summon itself. You had to negate the effect that summon it ( in this case polymerization )

Hmm. I so basically all Synchro and Contact fusion summons are 'negateable summons' because they summon themselves?

It should be.
Saber hole intended to counter synchro in the first place, btw.

However please note that if your OP use spectral sword effect ( or somethin like that ), you can't negate it via Saber hole and such. Several cards can special summon synchro monster without Synchro summoning them.

correct me if I'm wrong, but it may be possible to cause your opponent's Quitet to miss the activation timing for the field wiping.

When your opponent fusion summons Quintet, if you chain a card effect in response to it being summoned instead of it activating his effect then Quintet won't activate the wiping.

Correct or wrong? Because I did something like that against an opponent in my previous game.

Oups, mistake, he did use 2 similar cards.

I guess there is abosolutely no way for it to miss the timing.

A card only misses the timing if the effect says "when." If it says "if", it can't miss the timing. If it says "when", then if a card is activated right after the card effect is triggered, then it will miss the timing.

Mandatory "when" cannot miss the timing, though.

Missing the timing is only for "When...You Can"

For current meta destroying the field is not worth anymore since most new meta have cards that has many effects and give'em more benefit and advantage when their cards get destroyed, And Quintet destructive activation effect easily get interupted by some traps like Karma cut and fiendish chain, And quintet can't protect himself by banishing, face-down lock, return to hand, lower its stats.

I used Magicalized Fusion to summon this card using 5 spellcasters with different names. It got me Quintet Magician but its effect wasn't triggered. Any rulings on why the Quintet's effect isn't triggered when using Magicalized Fusion???

I think the counter trap "The huge revolution is over" can counter Quintet without any issue.

It will also counter the new Gladiator Beast Gyzarus from the new structure deck and Black rose dragon.

More banishment please.

I think you can activate it only after 2 or more cards are destroyed and not before.
If this is the case then this trap card would have already been destroyed as well.

From what I read, The Huge Revolution is Over can be used against Shiranui Sunsaga and Shiranui Squiresaga when they try to destroy 2 or more monsters.

Sorry, I meant 2 or more cards, like when Suiresaga banishes a synchro zombie or when sunsaga shuffles at least 2 cards.
