Cannot be Special Summoned. You can Tribute Summon this card by Tributing 1 Fairy-Type monster. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; this card loses exactly 1000 ATK, and if it does, send that target to the Graveyard.
The 1000 attack loss every time he uses his effect can easily becoming taxing on him. You can use Forbidden Chalice to temporarily negate Darklord Desire’s effect, returning him to his original attack plus an extra 400 attack temporarily. Use Reverse Trap to turn all his lost attack into attack boosts, possibly turning his attack into 6000 at most.
This is why language is important in Yugioh, and the reason I love running this card in Darklords. It SENDS your opponent’s monsters to the grave, NOT destroy. Can’t tell you how many times this made a duel for me by cucking my opponents from their destruction protection/floating affects.
I like using this card to get around my opponents monsters that only protect from destruction. They are suddenly dumbfounded when their monster is sent to the graveyard, they retaliate with a hard rage quit.
Best thing is this card doesn't even need to be run in Darklord decks.
Any deck that run Fairies, or has a good way to bring this card out without Fairy or tributing (say, by using Cost Down), can use this card.
How can this card ignore power of guardians effect and send a monster equipped with that cars to graveyard?
I had two spell tokens left on Power of guardians and I hadn't used it's effect that turn, I still couldn't use it's effect.
