Ahem...

Imagine you equip Sonic Shooter with Twin Swords - Tryce. Sonic Shooter now has 800 ATK.

You may now attack directly two times, each time hitting for 1300 damage (Sonic Shooter's original ATK).

So if you use two Of these, and use the UR card that halfs the attack and then gives the other half to another monster (sorry I don't know the name) then once that spell card is removed from the field and you're able to attack the opponent directly would the monsters attack increase?

When does the effect work? I thought if he was equipped with a card - let's say black pendant - and he attacked your opponents LP directly, the battle damage would be 1800 and his new base attack would be 1800 and with BP it would be 2300. How does it actually work?

The last guy is an idiot and the guy before him was right. When he attacks directly with his effect, his battle damage will always be 1300 (i.e. his original ATK). Go test it out and see for yourself. I put 3 gravity axes on him against a lvl 10 LD and he still only did 1300 damage with his direct attack.

To clarify: this ONLY applies when you attack directly via his effect. Any other battle damage will be affected by ATK boosts like normal, but in no way will it increase his original ATK.

It states that the original attack of the card 'becomes' the battle damage that was inflicted, literally meaning that the original attack should become the battle damage that was inflicted. If it said that the battle damage inflicted is equal to the cards original attack it would make sense. Either the cards written wrong or it's implemented wrongly in the game.

Although, now i think about it, it could also be interpreted the other way. The wording is awful either way.
