now that they are going to change the effect of lava golem they can fix some old cards, a quick effect on this one could help for dodge / double attack

or equip metalmorph from the graveyard when this card is special summoned

The effect they change is something related with burn damage.
You can expect destiny end dragoon, red eyes dragun, other red eyes monster, or destiny hero dystopia to be changed accordingly, but i doubt they will "fix" card like this

so, they could release card like Red Eyes Inferno, but inflict damage equal to half (or quarter) of Red Eyes' original ATK?

If you look at what they did to lava golem, yes.

Honestly it doesn't matter to me as long as they release the card itself. Playing red eyes with only slash dragon is kinda boring.

I know it is but for some reason I'm sentimental perfect machine king would be a better choice aswell as dna surgery for attack support zoa with metal morph is better than metal zoa

Use Bandit Keith's skill "Switcheroo" if you have this in your hand, so it gets sent back to the deck, and you can special summon it from there.

Good Goblin Housekeeping's probably the better option if you actually want to use this thing for some insane reason, since it puts it on the bottom of the Deck so you'll never draw it.

For machine decks it's also good to use Helping Robo for Combat, since it puts Metalzoa on the bottom of the deck and benefits from all the cool stuff to boost machines.

Can you special summon it in the battle phase?

This card is trash because Zoa with Metalmorph has 2900 plus an atk bonus on it's own turn.

It does not work they need to fix it when you get both cards for the summon nothing happens

Has to be in your Deck. Deck turns green afterwards and you can summon it.

There is no option to summon when metalmorph is equipped to Zoa.
