Overview

PeriodMay 2 - May 9

During the event period, "Elegant Mai", which is different from a regular Mai Valentine, spawns in Duel World. She drops event exclusive reward cards.

Rewards

"Elegant Mai" drops rarer Rewards at higher levels! Raise your Stage level to challenge "Elegant Mai" at a high level!

Spawn Rate

Dueling against Legendary Duelists, Standard Duelist, and the Vagabond in Duel World and Ranked Duels will increase the chance of "Elegant Mai" appearing in Duel World!

  • The chances of her appearing will increase every time you Duel until she appears.
  • If you run out of Standard Duelist, use Duel Orbs to respawn the maximum number of Duelists!
  • You can also Duel Legendary Duelists at the Gate.
  • The chances of "Elegant Mai" appearing will also be increased by Dueling in Ranked Duels! (Surrenders do not count.)

Check the chances of "Elegant Mai" appearing at the upper right hand corner of your screen.

  • Keep Dueling and Mai will appear.
  • Mai is coming closer!
  • Mai is almost here!
  • Mai has appeared in Duel World (DM)!

I got one princess for losing, another one with an aromage deck where I wasn't even trying to farm her, and now I just need to duel her a few more times to get the automatic princess reward. Why couldn't Superb Tea be this nice with the Divine Punishments?

Hey Guys!

My first post on Reddit so just wanted to say it is truly great to read all your commentary whenever I can get the chance.

On the subject of Duel Links has anyone noticed as of maybe the last 2 months that they have made the auto-duel extremely stupid??? I get that Konami probably wants their players to actually play their game themselves but seriously battling NPCs all the time gets pretty mundane quite quickly. I mean your deck could have the perfect synergy and the CPU will make the stupidest play imaginable! You try to turn it off to save the day but it doesn't stop until it makes a few more idiotic moves.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed is all.

I don't think that's the case. More like, there are many more new archetypes, cards, and combos; but ai isn't upgraded yet to adapt the new gameplay.

Some things don't really surprise me. But I wish they'd fix the things that are obviously broken, like the AI randomly activating ATK-boosting cards during your End Phase or activating multiple Enemy Controllers on one monster.

Damn, they remove ice barrier and vennu from reward. I didn't get 3 copies of them yet from event last year due to difficult af to farm.

It reduces your chance to get Princess and is basically yet another card reward they don't need for people who already have 3 copies of Vennu.

Huh? Reducing chance? I already got 3 copies of cards from this event. More SR/UR, more better it is. Look at Bakura on gate, they put roaming Bakura and Gate eveent Bakura rewards into one!

Are you really that dumb, this is freakin' basic math

Let's say an LD only has 1 SR and 10 R as drop

1 SR = rainbow pack is ensured to be that SR

If the same LD has 2 SR reward instead, it becomes only a 50% chance of getting the SR you want

While you sounded really good point and reasoning at all, this is an old event by a year. How many new players since then?

We only get so much sr ticket from ranked and there are too many cards available from ticket for newbies

i don't know what's wrong with this Event. I farmed Mai multiple times but i didn't get 1 amazoness princess. Then I lost 2 duels in a row and both times I got 1 princess...

Just to clear it up, higher duel points don't give you directly an increased chance to get better cards, they just gives you more drops to get more cards which gives you better chances, and doesn't increase you're luck
