Tips
Currently with limited “Gishki” monster choices, we are yet to see the full potential of this archetype in the meta.
Gishki Ariel is the only “Gishki” monster that does not return to your hand since it is not a Spirit-type monster, therefore it is able to fulfill Gishki Emilia’s requirement to negate opponent’s traps for that turn.
It is suggested to include Forbidden Chalice card, should you decide to play a deck that consists of “Gishki” monsters, in which you can force your Spirit-type monsters to stay on the field.
So far this are the 2 “Gishki” monsters that can be searched out by Gishki Ariel’s effect. Gishki Emilia requires another “Gishki” monster to be face-up on the field in order to activate its effect of trap effect negation for the rest of the turn, while Gishki Natalia is able to return 1 “Gishki” monster from your graveyard to the top of your deck.
Since all “Gishki” monsters are WATER monsters, they can enhance their attack with Field Spell A Legendary Ocean. Together with A Legendary Ocean, Hammer Shark is able to Special Summon any one of the “Gishki” monsters from your hand. While Gishki Ariel may not gain advantage from Shinobird Power Spot, Gishki Emilia and Gishki Natalia will be able to further enhance their ATK from it, since they are both Spirit-type monsters.
