If this card is in your hand: You can activate this effect; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, also Special Summon this card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Vassal Token" (Thunder-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 800/DEF 1000) to your opponent's field in Defense Position. If this card is Tributed for a Tribute Summon: You can activate this effect; you can Tribute Summon 1 monster during your Main Phase this turn, in addition to your Normal Summon/Set this turn. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) You can only use each effect of "Mithra the Thunder Vassal" once per turn.
Can be easily Special Summoned to the Field, since the cost is to Special Summon 1 token to your opponent’s Field.
If this card is used for a Tribute Summon, you gain an additional Tribute Summon on top of your Normal Summon/Set.

Tips
Mithra the Thunder Vassal is the most versatile amongst the Vassal monsters due to its condition of Special Summoning, with a token Special Summoned to your opponent’s Field as a cost. This monster will always be able to Special Summoned regardless of your cards.
Monarch Support
Mithra the Thunder Vassal can be used as a Tribute material to Tribute Summon any of these Monarch monsters.
You can also set Mithra the Thunder Vassal and use Escalation of the Monarch to Tribute it during either player’s Turn.

Is the token summon mandatory or just additional? Because when opponent has already full field and it would block the SS due this, it's inferior to Dyn.
