Pros

  • If destroyed by battle, sends 1 LIGHT monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.
  • If this card was sent to the Graveyard from your Deck, target 1 LIGHT monster in the Graveyard and return to the top of your Deck.

Cons

  • Below average ATK and DEF stats.
  • Potentially results in you decking out.

Tips

  • You can also use Dawn Knight’s effect to send another Dawn Knight from your Deck to the Graveyard, in order to bring back 1 LIGHT monster from the Graveyard to the top of your deck.
  • This can also be an alternative to Cyber Angel Decks that consists of LIGHT monsters, to mill out the LIGHT monster with the corresponding level, and use Machine Angel Absolute Ritual to Ritual Summon Cyber Angel monsters from your hand, using the LIGHT monster in the Graveyard as a tribute.

Blue-Eyes Combo

Use Dawn Knight’s effect to send Blue Eyes White Dragon to the Graveyard, and Special Summon Blue Eyes White Dragon with Birthright. The difference between this method with using Kidmodo Dragon is, this method allows your Blue Eyes White Dragon to attack when it was Special Summoned, whereas if you Special Summon via Kidmodo Dragon’s effect, your Blue Eyes White Dragon cannot attack during that turn.

Lightsworn Combo

Use Dawn Knight’s effect to send Jain, Lightsworn Paladin or Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress to the Graveyard, and use Powerful Rebirth to bring them back to the Field instantly.

activate Beginning of Heaven and Earth >> dump Destiny Hero Dasher and Dawn Knight into the grave >> use Dawn Knight effect to place BLS on top of your deck >> draw BLS and summon it using Dasher effect
