Aloof Lupine

Aloof Lupine
Aloof Lupine
DARK Beast ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 300
Blazing Rose [N]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 1 monster from your hand; banish 1 monster from your Deck with the same Type as that monster. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect: You can target 1 of your banished monsters; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Aloof Lupine" once per turn.

Aloof Lupine has the purpose of accelerating your Thunder Dragon plays. Ideally you banish Dragondark and Dragonroar for a free search and Special Summon.

Thunder Dragons

Thunder Dragonhawk

Thunder Dragonhawk
Thunder Dragonhawk
LIGHT Thunder ★6
ATK 1800 / DEF 2200
Dark Dimension [UR]
You can discard this card; Special Summon 1 of your “Thunder Dragon” monsters that is banished or in your GY, except “Thunder Dragonhawk”. If this card is banished, or sent from the field to the GY: You can shuffle any number of cards from your hand into the Deck, then draw the same number of cards. You can only use 1 “Thunder Dragonhawk” effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Try to avoid banishing Dragonhawk so you can use it for a follow-up Special Summon using its first effect and getting off two Special Summons in one turn.

Thunder Dragonduo

Thunder Dragonduo
Thunder Dragonduo
DARK Thunder ★8
ATK 2800 / DEF 0
Future Horizon [SR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY. Once per turn, if a monster effect is activated in the hand: This card gains 300 ATK until the end of this turn. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can banish 1 card from your GY; add 1 Thunder monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: You can target 1 of your banished cards; place it on the top or bottom of your Deck.

Dragonduo’s main purpose is to increase the chance of delivering an OTK.

Combo

Chaos Dragon Levianeer

Chaos Dragon Levianeer
Chaos Dragon Levianeer
DARK Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 0
Infinite Ray [UR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [UR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 LIGHT and/or DARK monsters from your GY. When Summoned this way: You can activate this effect; apply the following effect, based on the Attribute(s) of the monsters banished for the Special Summon, also this card cannot attack for the rest of this turn.
● Only LIGHT: Special Summon 1 monster from your GY in Defense Position.
● Only DARK: Shuffle 1 random card from your opponent's hand into the Deck.
● Both LIGHT and DARK: Destroy up to 2 cards on the field.
You can only use this effect of "Chaos Dragon Levianeer" once per turn.

Assuming the GY is filled up correctly, Chaos Dragon Levianeer should always be used first to get rid of backrow primarily. Since its destruction effect does not target, your opponent has to decide whether to activate effects with Spell Speed 2, before you actually choose which "targets" to destroy.

Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn

Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn
Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1000
Judgement Force [SR]
During your Main Phase: You can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, then if any "Lightsworn" monsters were sent to the Graveyard by this effect, this card gains 200 ATK until the end of your opponent's turn. You can only use this effect of "Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn" once per turn. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.

Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder

Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder
Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder
DARK Winged Beast ★12
ATK 3000 / DEF 2000
Aerial Assault [R]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned using a "Blackwing" monster as Material, it is treated as a Tuner while face-up on the field. Cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can target 1 "Blackwing" monster in your Graveyard; this card's Level becomes the same as that monster's. You can only use this effect of "Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder" once per Duel. If this card that was Synchro Summoned using only Synchro Monsters attacks, this card gains 3000 ATK during the Damage Step only.

If your opponent does not decide to use monster removal, you can follow-up this play with Normal Summoning Raiden and consequently go for a Assault Blackwing Onimaru the Divine Thunder Synchro Summon.

Photon Strike Bounzer

Photon Strike Bounzer
Photon Strike Bounzer
LIGHT Warrior ★6
ATK 2700 / DEF 2000
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 6 monsters
Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a monster effect is activated on your opponent's side of the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effect, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

Your XYZ Special Summons should be based on what are you expecting, e.g. Photon Strike Bounzer presents a good Turn 1 play, as you can interact with your opponent’s plays during their turn negating a monster effect of your choice.

Matchups

Noble Knight

Noble Knights prove to be a difficult matchup for this deck as Noble Arms of Destiny greatly diminish the usefulness of Chaos Dragon Levianeer‘s destruction effect. Arguably Cosmic Cyclone could be used, but it also increases brick chances, plus Level reduction does not profit from losing LP.
