Ruling question so does the destroy effect still work say if it's the second turn after this card is activated I draw during draw phase it's a spell let's say it's "r.o.d.a" and I search for a card that has less than 1500 def does it still get destroyed by full force virus ?

Was in a similar situation just today. I would like to know if it destroys my card on the field a turn or 2 after the initial activation.

not on field only the first turn and then its only cards from the hand that are destroyed
