  • Good attack boost to the equipped monster.
  • Tuner.

  • Can be slow to equip.

Being a level-4 Tuner makes Vylon Prism an easy monster to use as synchro material. After being sent to the graveyard as synchro material you can equip Vylon Prism to that Synchro Summoned monster. Summon a Synchro monster that works well with equips for better results.

Being a level-4 Thunder monster makes Vylon Prism a good fit in a Hunder deck. Pahunder and Mahunder can give you an extra summon for Vylon Prism and make a level-8 Synchro.

It's a great card

Definitely. Stats within searchable range, Level 4 Tuner with no downside, and its effect is actually useful.
This is so good. Especially since it's 4*.

Yup. Makes a good autoduel deck with level 8 Synchros.
This card is really good with Hunders. Thunder Seahorse can search it, alongside any of the Hunder cards. You can go either Pahunder or Mahunder > Vylon Prism > Scrap Dragon. Equip Vylon to Scrap, and use Scrap to destroy equip spell for a free pop. You can alsonsummon Stardust Spark Dragon, which is a prettu cool card. Easy lv8 synchro
I was just about to waste a UR ticket on a Vylon Prism when the Tag event announcement went up.

So damn glad I decided to wait to see if anything happened.

Great Tuner for a Hunder deck, like I'll be using once Xyz come out.
I have a question.
If vylon prism is equipped to a monster on the field, can you still use its tuner effect and the monster it is equipped to as the stuff needed to synchro summon?

No, because it's then treated as an equip spell and not a monster, thus it loses its status as a tuner. It only gives the 1000 ATK boost to the monster it's equipped to and nothing else.

Thank you for a quick response! A greatly appreciate it.

You would have to use some sort of effect to return it to the monster zone or to your hand or graveyard where you can then re-summon it either by just playing it or by card effect
I love Vylon cards. I collect em all

It’s surprising this Vylon hasn’t been nerfed given how many people quit a match after running into it.. x’D
At last useful Tuner from Event!

A bunch of tuners are useful. This is just one of the more fun ones that grant OTK potential :)
Whats the best strategies to use with this card?

I tried with silent doom+labyrinth builder to bring out level 9s. Problem is the deck has no recovery.

Not using it at all is the best strategy

Are you the same dingus who called it trash? It has a variety of uses including just being sac’d off towards Scrap Dragon’s effect while in a monster zone and then following up with its own effect to help bump up ANY of your monsters attack power. The ONLY monster that you might have issue’s using this as Synchro Material for would be Stareater given that monsters effects. Otherwise; it’s top tier
Trash wearing a white outfit.

This ‘trash’ is actually quite OP when used right. The thing that’s most hilarious is when someone rams a monster into another monster that has it equipped without actually reading its effect which can bump up a monsters attack by 1000pts during either battle phase. Only those who call it trash are either ignorant or have lost to it quite spectacularly. :)
