Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Warrior-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase: This card gains 500 ATK. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell Card is activated: You can negate the activation. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Silent Swordsman" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Silent Swordsman", ignoring its Summoning conditions.

With SSS limited though it won't be possible to fit Silent Swordsman in to Amazons or Masked Heroes without choosing between Princess / Celestial. Without those cards, those decks lose massive advantage, and without SSS then Silent Swordsman has mediocre stats.

At that point, it will only get used in D.D Warrior Banish Control decks which only whales can afford to run.

I noticed that, too. I was all excited to make it an amazoness thing, but when I saw the new list, I realized that wasn't really going to happen and I got just a little bummed out. I understand why they did it, though.

This deck will have the E hero equivalent of drilldark where it will be able to summon another E.hero and it will sync with Lady Dian coming to Masked HEROES

Except that you will have to choose between running Celestial and SSS?

Or that Silent Swordsman Lvl 7 will negate your own Mask Changes?

It's not an ideal combo.

Would SSS effect be an automatic trigger or would I have the option of letting some magic cards through? Havent used it in a while so I'm not sure

It's a continuous effect like Jinzo, nobody can run spells.
