They get lazy once it's close to stage 2 and sometimes wait to submit more of the decks until stage 2 is about to start and they have another event article to update.

I don't think we even have new events anymore except for character unlocks. It's pretty boring.

No new in-game notification about event and stuff in more than a week. I don't know if Konami team are busy preparing Zexal or they are just being lazy. Unless you are ready for 3 days of 2nd stage, the month with KC Cup inside is basically a boring month, and the only interesting stuff is the daily 50 gems.

Man they should bring back events like „Attack from the rare Hunters, return of Marik“ or „Showdown in battle city“. Or even events including dungeon dice or Noah and kaiba‘s step dad. There are so many different ideas but they just don’t do anything

Lol that lava golem invoked deck looks pretty f.i.l.t.h.y. Hope nobody ran into it. I am running a stall deck myself and I know how people rage quit when they get the golem

A stall deck with the invoked engine really makes no sense Cocytus makes a little sense sure but you only get one with no way to recover it so you’re dedicating 5 cards in your main deck for one extra deck card literally makes no sense plus it’s just a 1rst stage qualifier so basically a legend 1 deck that’s not impressive all in all it’s a meme deck just play it for fun it

I don't see how that is even fun. I never saw Cocytus used as stall in reality, even though he has high defense. The typical use for him I see is have him attack as he gains stat increases with the elesaber field spell, equip spells and Aleister hand trap. In fact both Cocytus and Purgatrio are anti stall tactics pretty much all the time. So it sounds so weird to me.

Yes, you can start ranking now, the "strongest" decks you find now are aromages and blue eyes [blue eyes don't have their core (backrow) so they are easy to beat]

most the time the top decks in kc the same more or less like last kc with stage 1 and stage 2. even if the kc gave out 10k gems at stage 2 the kc still won't be worth it

This is my deck for reaching dlv max today from lvl 10 (had 5 losses in total). The deck is very powerful.
3x blackwing simoon
2x zephyros the elite
3x Gale
2x bora the spear
1x oroshi
1x krish
3x black whirlwind
2x cosmic cyclone
2x blackbird close
1x necrovalley

Extra deck
Ancient fairy dragon
Ancient pixie dragon
Obsidian Hawk joe
Raikiri
Black winged dragon
Chidori

The secret is use that necrovalley against decks which are weak to it (witchcrafter, shiranui, dark magician, elemtsabers). They alwaS lose against this deck

TCG is very different than Duel Links. This card was quite bad in the OCG/TCG before Link Summoning existed.

Block dragon before the nerf of "draw sense spell/trap" skill was a big brain deck. Meaning, someone invested time to think it, build it, and hit KOG. Then we all just used our copy machines. And yes, it was ridicously op deck. BW deck is a swarm, repetitive deck that you need 0 brain to use or mak it. You just throw the best cards of the archetype and you use the premade mechanisms. 0 creativity

in my opinion, it's the other way around.
Block Dragon post-nerf is the big brain deck.
Before nerfed, it was much more easier to use, thus requiring less brain work

This time KC Cup is balanced. DM and Cydra player didn't always get a good hand. So other deck like Karakuri has a chance. BW tho might get a banlist after KC cup. Blackbird Close a bit strong for 2nd turn player. Also Lightsworn engine need to semi-limited bcuz of WC abused them much.

I got DLV Max yesterday with Valkyrie.
Didnt fought any Karakuri along the way (strange) but they seem to be quite good now based on KOG & DLVMAx list.

None of the nerfs matter before how horribly broken Vijam is. You're trying to give to a deck with 3x floodgate 3x canadia 3x wod full 3 copies of a monster that can't be destroyed by battle and that can permanently floodgate opponent's monsters, as many times as it wishes. JFL. I wonder what the hell is wrong with the "release X card for players" movements.

That terrible skill definitely needs to be changed though.

They release some broken cards for players for profit. But the answer to that should not be even more broken cards. Vijam is really really extremely broken.
