Lol that lava golem invoked deck looks pretty f.i.l.t.h.y. Hope nobody ran into it. I am running a stall deck myself and I know how people rage quit when they get the golem
The deck looks interesting and fun to play and not too expensive at all. Very good for my f2p account, I must try it out. I wonder what the other spell card besides invocation is called? And what is the last trap card‘s name?
The spell card is megaroid city and the trap card is skull invitation. I forget from where megaroid city but skull invitation is from Odion drop at gate.
It's really pointless. The point of Purgatrio is to attack. If you're using stall your deck is not built for attacking. If you want to make a deck based around on beating down your opponents with Purgatrio there are much better options for an in invoked deck.
If your deck is all stall your Purgatrio is going down very fast. Just doesn't make sense to use big powers if your deck isn't intending to get them to win.
Stall usually relies on burn damage to win, but a single attack from ah purgatrio to a floodgated monster can make you win the duel. Since stalls makes use of cocytus there's no real reason not to slap purgatrio as well making a shiranui match-up a breeze. So yeah if you dont need you're extra deck to win, why not use it as a tool box.
It's just so nonsensical to rely on battle damage when your deck is about effect damage. It's not a deck equipped to deal with the troubles big beaters will face. So if you try to summon a big beater and you're playing stall it's just gonna be karma cut'd or something. An Invokesaber deck would have things like Lapaula to respond to threats to big besters. Just feels so off.
Not that confusing.
I don't play stall with Purgatrio myself, but I can see the idea. It's an alternative winning condition. If you got all pieces of the puzzle in your hand and safe to attack (e.g no back row/hand trap etc), then it's better to finish off your opponent quickly than to rely on the stall+burn
It confuses me because the "alternative winning condition" makes a much better and easier to play deck than stall. It becomes so weird. I am bad at accepting the contradictions of the world. I don't have the full expensive Invokedx3 Aleisterx3 Purgatriox3 set. But if I were to make a deck with it I'd use it to its best potential. A "stall deck" is so different.
Just to give an example, shiranui deck is a much easier deck to deal with if they cant negate/banish you invoker. You can simply use their graveyard turn after turn slowing them down.
Oh my, you just cant accept the fact that having other ways to win instead of just burning your opponents LP "IF A CHANCE COMES" does not hinder the decks power. Stalls don't use their Extra decks that much anyway so why not put a purgatrio there.
Except that chance will be very rare to come if you're playing stall. Purgatrio is more than using your extra deck. The deck shown uses 6 cards in their main deck dedicated to summoning invokeds. 6 out of 20 not being stall cards is a big deal tbh.
"Except that chance will be very rare to come"
That's why you call it a tool box. The invoked "ENGINE" in that deck is to summon cocytus, and don't tell me cocytus is not enough to stall against a lot of decks.
If your "tool box" takes a big space of your deck it's not a stall deck. Cocytus is also a beater that attacks. I don't know why you are so interested in defending that their deck is "stall" and "pure". But having your game plan around having big beaters on the field just can't be called a stall deck. I am interested in pointing that out because it confuses me.
A stall deck with the invoked engine really makes no sense Cocytus makes a little sense sure but you only get one with no way to recover it so you’re dedicating 5 cards in your main deck for one extra deck card literally makes no sense plus it’s just a 1rst stage qualifier so basically a legend 1 deck that’s not impressive all in all it’s a meme deck just play it for fun it
I don't see how that is even fun. I never saw Cocytus used as stall in reality, even though he has high defense. The typical use for him I see is have him attack as he gains stat increases with the elesaber field spell, equip spells and Aleister hand trap. In fact both Cocytus and Purgatrio are anti stall tactics pretty much all the time. So it sounds so weird to me.
