October Events

On September 25, Konami provided information of upcoming events that is scheduled from early October to early November.

[Early Oct] Duel-A-Thon

Duel-A-Thon will be held again in Early October. During the event period, you will earn points every duel, to fill your "Duel Meter". Gather points every day and get daily rewards, accumulate those points over the course of the event to get even bigger prizes.

[Mid Oct] New playable LD!

Mid-October would be releasing a character "fit for this time of the year", if we are going with characters from the original series only, this almost 100% confirms Bonz as the new unlockable duelist. Adding to this, the dialogue written saying "Dueling me will give you a spook that will put you in your grave", further solidifies the speculation Bonz will be released.

Set Sail for the Kingdom

Return to the duelist kingdom and don't miss out the chance to unlock Yugi Muto!. Announcement has been made that there will be a new card rewards for this event.

[Late Oct] New Playable LD from GX!

A new character in GX World! Vellian Crowler who specializes on mostly machine type monster can be expected to appear Late October, based on the dialogue written "It's my turn to teach you a thing or two about Dueling" is a great hint to expect Vellian Crowler as he is one of the professor being beaten by Jaden in the Academy. [Early Nov] KC Cup

After the success of the first KC Cup last February, KC Cup 2 will be open again. A tournament that offers players to excel and prove their deck worthy of being on the top. KC Cup offers a huge variety of rewards from Legendary Duelists drops.

The Yugi event is because there will be plenty of people playing duel links due to gx. It'd be nice if we could unlock pegasus if we don't have him already though. And separate duel-a-thon sucks but I guess they figured players will be focusing on leveling up gx characters and a little boost is nice

Yugi event is for those newer players who will come to this game because of UNION ATTACK. A good farming tool in this game. Just my cents.

We have had Pegasus event twice already... the only reason they are focusing on yugi is because most events are repeated twice. There will be a cycle where all this shut will repeat a gain. Good thing there are events every months keeps the game from being stale/repetitive than a card game usually is.

What's the point of repeating an event that didn't even end 2 months ago when there are events that haven't been repeated since April? There are a ton more people who haven't unlocked Pegasus but have unlocked Yugi Muto

Hi,the KC cup stated that who reached KOG in 21st season will be invited straight to 2nd phase, can I know what season is the rank now for september ?? 20 or 21 ??

So I'm somewhat disappointed by the schedule post-GX. Sounds to me like we have a plain-old Duel-A-Thon, for one. Bonz looks like he's gonna be roaming instead of unlockable, and Yugi's back way too soon. It rather annoys me. Now, I suppose that if they do recycle the Yugi event, at least they'll probably add Bonz to the 3rd section... but that's just a hope of mine so I can get more Millenium Coins. Now, I can say that I'm looking forward to the presumed Crowler event, and the Kaibacup. I just think that a fair number of these events were not the brightest idea.

I think that they are waiting this long to release him on purpose, because they know that people want him and are willing to wait. It was the same with Yami Marik. He, Pegasus, and Yami Bakura were all previewed at the same time during a festival, but they release the latter two multiple times before the Yami Marik event started. And then YM was referred to as "The duelist you have all waited for"

The Yugi Muto event is okay, but it begs the question: if we already unlocked him, would we get a UR jewel instead of Yugi for clearing the Final Duel Zone?

i want to see Pegasus back with more toon support. don't hate me I know toons are annoying so as red eyes. we need to balance the meta with free to play player.. only those who can afford runs meta deck.
