Riryoku is a very powerful card and ranks highly in terms of card efficiency due to its ability to both decrease your opponent’s monster ATK and add it to your own. Unlike equip cards, Riryoku could only be negated by spell jammer or counter traps which could negate spell effects. Could be included in most decks that otherwise do not use effect damage to win.

Pros

Very useful to defeat any high level attack monster.
Damage dealt is similar to direct damage, since it is the base attack of the attacking monster.
Very flexible card.

Cons

Only useful for 1 turn.

Tips

This cards effect only lasts for a turn, so use it wisely. It's usually best to use it on targets that have higher ATK than anything you have on the board or in your hand.

Riryoku works well in any beatdown deck and is necessary to decks to get high score with Over 5,000 (9,999) Damage duel assessment.

Do you know that "Riryoku" means "Force/Strength" in Japanese?

Well, guess what this card is called in Japan? It is just called "Force"(フォース). Oh, and Riryoku Field is just called Force Field in Japan. Somehow the translator thinks that calling this card "Riryoku" is more straight-forward than calling it "Force".

do some missions, maybe also convert some UR cards you don't need and wait for it at the Trader. That's what i did

Is it worth to have a 3rd copy of this card? Like for farming purposes?

auto deul decides not to use riryoku. the one right now i am face two twin headed dragon. i used golden apple and so i got a monster with 2800 attack. i have riryoku in my had. im waiting for autoduel to activate riryoku. but instead it ends my turn. i let that one slide. on my next auto duel didnt use riryoku. i turn off auto duel and manually activate riryoku to win the game. riryoku has glitched on me many times before and i have lost multiple times. most of the time that i auto duel im at work so all i see if i won or loss. so i probablly way more than i am aware of. has anyone exerienced this?

Yeah, auto battle stupidly uses Riryoku and also Stray Lambs and Tornado in my battles too...
Always uses Stray Lambs for no reason, Just summons lambs and ends turn.
Newer uses Tornado on strong cards in its situtation for example if Jurassic World and Raise Temprature was both face up on field, always uses on Raise Temperature.
Always uses Riryoku on my cards for no reason.

There aeems to be a glitch beetween Ancient dragon and Riryoku. I had in play one twin headed thunder dragon and lord of d and my opponent had one ancient dragon at turn 3. I played riryoku and the game didn't let me target AD to half atk. On turn 4. My opponet played a Riryoku too. He wasn't allowed to target ancient dragon for half atk or add atk...

its a must when using high atk monster with riryoku counter at ready..
