Send 3 face-up "Ancient Gear" cards you control to the Graveyard. You can Special Summon up to 1 "Ancient Gear Golem" from your hand and 1 from your Deck, ignoring the Summoning conditions. Then, destroy all monsters you control except "Ancient Gear Golems". You cannot Normal Summon or Set until the end of your next turn.

Pros

  • Able to quickly Special summon up to 2 Ancient Gear Golems to the field.

Cons

  • It is a limited edition card, you cannot farm for it.
  • You cannot conduct Normal summons or Sets the turn after you activate this card.
  • You need to send 3 face-up “Ancient Gear” cards to the Graveyard as a cost.
  • You need to destroy any other monsters you control except Ancient Gear Golem

Tips, Related Cards, Rulings

  • You can still conduct Normal summons or Sets before you activate this card, but your monsters will be destroyed as of Spell Gear’s effect except Ancient Gear Golem.
  • You can combo with Ancient Gear Tank and sent it as 1 of the 3 face-up Ancient Gear cards to the graveyard as a cost, and inflict 600 damage to your opponent.

Rulings

  • You cannot activate Spell Gear if you have no Ancient Gear Golems in both your hand and your deck.
  • You can activate Spell Gear if you have 1 Ancient Gear Golem in your deck, but 0 Ancient Gear Golem in your hand.
  • You can activate Spell Gear if you have 1 Ancient Gear Golem in your hand but 0 Ancient Gear Golem in your deck.

It also includes face up spell and traps as long as they have ancient gear in their name. I wonder if Geartown would work with these too?

No its way too slow even with crowlers ancient mech skill

That's the worst and good card I've ever seen. It's good if you have 1 in your hand and another one in the deck, but absolutely horrible and waste of space if you have already have drawn them.

But.. there's some cards that can shuffle the some cards in your hand to the deck, so you'll be able to use this card.

For an absolute pefect combo you need crowler's first skill activated then summon a AG card and equip an AG spell to it now your ready to summon an AGG from hand and one from yer Deck.
