King of Games decks [March 2018]

• a small note to show how you use it/how it works in the meta (optional)

GameA will crop sent images. Note that we may not show your decks here if a submitted deck/idea is duplicated or pretty much same to the ones existing on this page, it won't be showed. IGN however will be still listed. It will help us do analysis on current meta!

• MavMaverick:
  This deck is particularly defensive and reactive (which is ironic since it’s an Ancient Gear deck). Ancient Gear Beast is the MVP: it can safely remove big threats from the match with little trouble, like Rose Lover. Sergeant Electro is also invaluable, able to pin/pop backrow before you tribute summon. Finally, Wall of Disruption easily secures wins against opponents who swarm and/or over-commit.

• YatsuoKogame:
  The strategy is pretty simple and aggressive but it's very important to read the opponent strategy quickly to use your resources correctly. The main combo is to revive Carrot Champion discarding Rose Lover and use Rose Lover's effect to special summon Gigaplant, normal summon it and use his effect to summon Thalaya. DW Lighning is very good to destroy backrow or set monsters (Suijin, Sylvans, Magical marchant, etc... ), Ultimate providence is useful to negate monsters effect (usually). For both of these cards, you can discard any monster since they can be revived by Gigaplant or they have effect in the graveyard. Wild tornado is very good against everything thanks to the two effects.
  Rose lover and Thalaya are very important against SSA decks.

• Radiohead:
  The goal is to won by deckout. You must summon gandoria and let your lp drop to 500, and use skill ojama overflow. Get Mauselium, gandoria, and another backrow card. Summon gandoria by reduce ur lp by 2000, destroy all cards your lp become 1000, and finally go set one backrow card and destroy it also. Ur lp become 500, then use skill. Just wait till deckout win.

• DLTW | 棄療:
  A small note to show how to use your deck or how you reach KOG (if necessary)
  Ice Barrier is a good choice to counter Sylvan, Alien, and other passive decks like Fire Fist Hazy decks, since there are less backrow in this season due to the Sea Stealth Attack and Sylvan decks. I just use Ice Barrier to counter the mainstream in Rank Duel and I made it. Although Ice Barrier have a poor performance in previous seasons, it's still good to change proper decks to face the different enemies, while the deck still have some room to improve.

• essbie:
  Essential first hand cards:
  -RA - triple attack
  -Photon/Chthonian Alliance - Attack enhancers
  -Trunade/Arrows - backrow removak
  -Wicked-Breaking Flamberge/Big Bang - takes care of opponents first monsters either set or face-up

• Chef:
  Destiny Heroes are strong! Turn 1 play is almost always fusing into dangerous and keeping a card in hand to power him when when your attacked next turn or to put a dreamer/celestial, whatever you need in the situation. I found Dogma only helpful maybe twice in my climb but burn started to really frustrate me when I had nothing to tribute which is why he was put into the deck, most matchups are winnable with d-heroes , especially the the increasingly frustrating SSA decks, which get shut down by celestials effect, except for Aliens, which in most scenarios is almost always An Insta lose.

• satankitty:
  The point is to play defensively until they attack into a spike shield, (usually start with 1 set monster 1 spikeshield) they usually attack into it and wish they didnt, plays 2 tribute bc sylvans are everywhere. It plays alot like dino control, sergeant pins everything brack gets over stuff you can't

• NightClubFox:
  Spike Chain is an equip trap card that can activate in the damage step. Maha Vailo gains 500 for each equip card and Spike Chain increases the DEF of a DEF position monster by the ATK. Setting Maha with 2 set spike chains (or even 1 spike chain and a wall of D) results in an OTK when your opponent runs into your set Maha. Maha with big bang shot is 2650 ATK and can be a win condition with piercing damage. Double cyclone works with big bang shot because you can equip big bang shot to your opponents monster and use double cyclone to get a 2 for 1 play. Double cyclone can be chained to the activation of sea stealth attack by destroying the Yami field spell which really helps in sea stealth match-ups. Cosmic cyclone and SGT electro have great control and backrow disruption. Econ take is a win condition and I run 3 to deal with the Cyber Angel match-up.

• Johnny Mcmuf:
  I used the ability "shadow Game " from Marik. The Keycard is "Skull Invitation". One or two copy's in your Startinghand means autowin against Sylvanias.

• guizzo:
  How to use:
  The deck is F2P and it allows many plays.The starting hand is crucial, thus you should use Restart.Try always to get 2 aromage monsters, 1 Aroma Garden and a trap/spell in your opening hand. The star is of course Bergamot and its piercing effect. The best way to summon it is to send Rose Lover to the GY with Fragrance and then summon Bergamot trap-immune for that turn.The deck can counter many decks like Sylvan, Alien, GFF, AG and others, but watch out for Burn!

• Emvepe:
  Semi-Full counter Aromage deck with all nine aromages to increase chance to have them in the starting hand and then with drawing power get the counter cards to finish the game. To make use of the aromages abilities from the start i used life boost alpha.

• INVICTUM:
  A very f2p deck and strong deck,
  The deck style is to swarm using Sphinx or peryton and destroy enemy monsters using beatdown.
  use monsters such as Raven to pull out the fire formation spells to lock enemy backrow using gyokkou or tensu to help swarming. Mantikor is the star of this deck, use his effect to crush ssa or srh easily n break their defence.
  Main combo:
  use peryton's effect, you will need to always pull Sphinx and mantikor and then use sphinx to swarm and beatdown ur opponent.

• Olegod:
  There are many combos you can do with this deck, but the perfect combo is start in the second turn with Earth Ninja, Peryton, any FIRE monster and Anti-Magic Arrows in your hand. First, special summon Earth Ninja, use Peryton's effect and summon Sphynx and Mantikor (this one is very useful against Super Rush Headlong and Sea Stealth Attack) then using Sphynx's effect to summon another monster (as this deck contains only 4 magic cards there's a high probability that the top card of the deck is a monster), activate Beatdown and activate anti-magic arrows to avoid WOD, Etaqua, Curse of Anubis, and Mirror Wall.
  Other combos are: activate "Tensu", summon Fire Fist Raven and summon Peryton OR summon Cerberus (with its effect and summon Sphinx OR activate Tensu or Gyokku to special summon Coyote and tribute summon Peryton/Sphynx.

• Khastarax:
  Strategy: Swarm the field with Hazy monsters through Hazy Sphinx and/or Peryton and then go over your opponent with Beatdown boost, while also locking down some of their backrow with Fire Formation - Gyokkou or AMA before going for the win. Admittedly I played variants of this deck that probably were much less consistent before playing with the 2 Mausoleum (for 6 non-monster cards in total) and more Perytons, and a second Mantikor since I bricked so many times and also wanted more of the card that allowed me to attack through SSA without having to pray for AMA or a single Mantikor.

• fautiq:
  • Strong deck with variables combo available.
  • Perfect counter for Sylvan deck since Hazy monster not affected by card effect.
  • Less magic/spell card is good for this deck since Sphynx effect will most time end up with monster cards (due to cannot use Aroma Strategy since Beatdown needed to boost the ATK to go for OTK ).

For the combo, much less the same with already stated in the KOG decks on website. Can tweak the deck for spell card using econ since I'm always stuck if facing higher ATK monsters (dakini/dino/aromarage).
