Flutist can't chain to Circle because it's only a level 3 card.

To beat circle, you need to Synchro summon Cloudcastle, then hit surrender and spend money on the Cosmic Cyclone deal.

Yes, it can miss timming because of in the graveyard.

So i was playing against zane and he used the trap that lets him banish x cyber dragons to destroy x cards on my side, and the effect of the flutist to negate and destroy the trap did not activate. Can someone explain why it didn't work?

TTH does target.

Flutist negates targeting, not destruction, the CyDras trap doesnt target, it only destroys.

Can anybody please explain this?

1st turn: I set {Flutist}

2nd turn: Opponent activates {Dark Magical Circle}. Adds {Dark Magician} to hand. Normal summons {Magician's Rod}, activates its effect and adds {Magician Navigation} to hand. Sets a card. Attacks my {Flutist} and destroys it. Of course, {Flutist} goes to GY.

3rd turn: I draw, then set another {Flutist}. Opponent activates {Magician Navigation} and special summons a {Dark Magician} and a {Magician of Dark Illusion}. Then activates {Dark Magical Circle}'s effect and banishes my set {Flutist} *without* activating the {Flutist} in my GY!!!

Can anybody please explain why the actual F this happened?

I'm almost sure it's the second time this happens to my "dead" {Flutist} against {Dark Magical Circle}. I mean, to have a {Flutist} in the GY and still have my monster on the field banished by {Dark Magical Circle}, ignoring the GY Flutist.

Why???

......you Set the Flutist.

Face-down monster has no identity.

Therefore, Flutist in the Graveyard does not recognize that there is any SHS on your field.
