Once per turn, when an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; destroy that target, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the destroyed monster's ATK. You must control an "Earthbound Immortal" monster with ATK higher than the ATK of the attacking monster to activate and to resolve this effect.

Evaluation

RatingB

Pros

  • Destroys an attacking monster.
  • Inflicts burn damage.

Cons

  • Must control an Earthbound Immortal to use effect.

Tips

  • Actually difficult to activate because not many monsters will be attacking an Earthbound Immortal head-on. Although this does protect weaker monsters alongside an Earthbound Immortal.

  • Can be used against that rely on direct attacks like Cyberdark Edge.

Not as powerful as for our Majestic Dragons if Konami allows them in the game

Those Majestic Synchros? In Speed Duel format with the cardpool we have right now?

lmao

Nobody use them even in real life, too much effort to summon a monster that lasts on the field for just 1 turn no matter what. Not to mention needing a deck specifically for them since the Tuner can only be used for them.

They're not super-difficult to Summon (cards like Kinka-Byo and Guiding Light set them up pretty easily), but yeah, they're just not worth it.

Interesting card.
