Ambitious Duke Appears

By filling up the Crest Meter after complete the Episode #3, Ambitious Duke will appear in the Duel World (DM).

Dice Challenges

A Dice challenges will occur after Dueling Duke Devlin and you can get rewards based on the result of the dice roll. You can duel against Duke Devlin Lvl 10 with reward x3 to unlock Duke Devlin faster.

It seems Konami greatly held back with Duke after what happened with Sartorius.

Most of Duke's dice skills are crap.

The storyline is okay but so many players having trouble farming points. Dicelops & Snipe Hunter are not used by Duke in the anime. Remove such cards from the NPC deck already!

I use Cloudian Ra, but I modified it to include copies of Cloudian Squall (so Altus can use its effect multiple times in a single turn), and Divine Punishment.

Diceclops and Orgoth dies to Divine Punishment, and Snipe Hunter can't use its effect if Duke has no hand due to Altus depleting it.

That´s because Duel Links is a great YGO TCG game, but a terrible actual YGO game based on the anime/manga mythos. DL might as well have been a simple TCG virtual simulator (like YGOPro), in which cards are added without events nor characters and giving us a monthly Gem allowance, and the same amount of people´d still play it.

Does anybody know want the dice challenge rewards are after unlocking duke? There seems to be a card and a game mat unlock able. Or Is it the same game mat at 300k points?

getting an icon is very painfull now, the dice gives only money and the star never show up even when i play x3 lvl 10.

The level of Duke determines the likelihood of getting stars. You have a better chance of getting them at level 40 though of course that costs more resources than lower levels. If you take on Ambitious Duke you automatically get at least one star.

since when did duke have a father and why is he a clown. why havent they mentioned his duel against joey using random booster packs. or when he forced him to wear a dog costume. and wheres the part about him challenging yugi to a game of ddm and if he loses he has to give up duel monsters forever. this story is trash and makes no sense. first they bring antinomy back to life for no reason and now this. get your sh1t together konami and get the fvcking story right

The one not getting the story right is you, I´m afraid. Duel Links bases the background story of DM characters on the manga, in which Duke´s father being a clown and wanting the Puzzle is what happens.

The whole Joey´s dog costume story happened only in the anime, and thus hasn´t been adapted here. At least be thankful some nods from the anime have been kept, like Duke idolizing Pegasus.

And it's a drop as well. Makes it easy to get 3 copies.

Get 1 copy from event, 1 copy from drop, and level him up for the last copy.

it's not bad at all, doing lv10 with 3x multiplier several times until Duke is unlocked, only takes like, maybe 30 minutes at most depending on how (un)lucky you are with the dice

I rather failed over and over again fighting strong opponent to unlock things than win against weak opponent over and over again just to roll the dice for unlock things.

This dice bingo thing sucks!!

Duel him on LV 10 x3 and you'll get 6 dice instead of 2 for unlock event. Give it a try
