It's a nice Screw You to Dakini.

Booming

Cant use the effect by either tribute summon or tribute to doom. The only use I saw when it destroy by battle. Anyone know how to not missed the timing?

You can only use the eff inmediately after it goes to the grave

My plan was to summon jester use tribute to the doom discard peten summon a peten then summon a dark magician/DMoC but the effect misses the timing could have been good such waste.

Someone.

Should be prompt you to activate Peten's effect Yes/No the moment it is in the graveyard, then proceed to resolve Tribute to the Trash effect.

It won't work, the send to the graveyard has to be the last thing to occur in the chain to activate.

This plus jester will be the foundation of high lv spellcaster decks.

Good to stall Dakini's effect of sending monsters to the graveyard too.

Note that this card's effect still works if it's destroyed by battle, effectively enabling you to summon another Peten from your deck as soon as one is destroyed while having synergy with Banished cards like Doomsday Horror

not to mention being re-usable with Trance Archfiend
