The searching works both ways for these 2 cards. Glife the Phantom Bird searches Golden Castle of Stormberg from your deck, while Golden Castle of Stormberg can special summon Glife the Phantom Bird from your deck triggering his effect.

Return Glife to the hand with these effects so that you can resummon him to use his effect. Use Harpie Dancer’s effect to return Glife the Phantom Bird back to your hand and Normal summon him again to destroy an opponent’s Spell/Trap card. Boost Mist Valley Shaman’s attack by returning Glife the Phantom Bird to the hand.

Dragunity Darkspear

After Discarding Glife the Phantom Bird to search Golden Castle of Stormberg, you can revive him by tributing Dragunity Darkspear.

Unless you are running a Stromberg deck, the bird (which in this case, it's not the word) is a "weaker" version of Breaker the Magical Warrior... why? This one targets (sadly) only the opponent's cards but Breaker goes both ways so it can be used for certain cheese tactics
Also, depending on your deck, Breaker can be used more than one time, but the bird goes to the field and then to the oven
TLDR = A poor man's Breaker the Magical Warrior

Unlike Breaker, however, Glife isn't stopped by Floodgate Trap Hole or Canadia. It has some advantages over Breaker. Of course, Ancient Gears are basically the only deck currently using it anyway, and thus couldn't use Glife.

this bird has pretty legit fodder use in EHERO Great Tornado leverage decks. normal summon then fuse it. both good way to deal with backrow and good offense in the same time. cant do the same with breaker :^)

Well it was a DM era card. So I'm not surprised with the stats.

At least they buffed it a bit by making it able to search Stromberg. But yeah, Konami should have also added something like "If Stromberg is face-up on the field, this card gains 500 ATK."

It was designed with the actual card game in mind in mind, and giving it an attack buff there would have just been a waste of ink.

Due to its ability to search out the card that gets the entire Stromberg deck running, along with the ability to snipe backrow (especially with repeated summons), it doesn't need good ATK and DEF to be good in Duel Links. You just need to know how to see its good stats.

🔥ed op you just don't get it do you? no gooooood stats nooo goood stats cry cry cry,why don't you ask why sphere kuriboh has no gooood stats huh? If everyone in konami was as 🔥ed as you they might as well make sphere kuriboh 2000 atk and keep it's effect have man eater bug have 2000 atk and keep it's effect

Best part is that you don't even have to play a Stromberg deck to use the backrow destroying effect, since they're two separate effects.
