Honestly, without Future Fusion, Divine Neos isn't a problematic card anyway. Even if we get Miracle Fusion as a card, we simply don't have enough good ways to fuel Divine Neos. (And I doubt Magical Merchant would be worth it, since Divine Neos doesn't have a large immediate impact.)

Rainbow Neos is the one I wouldn't expect to see.

It's a GX era card. GX is the time when Konami just applied their first OCG/TCG banlist and therefore is being overly cautious with everything, out of fear that the banlist will grow larger.

(.....they clearly aren't thinking that way not long afterwards, looking at how big the banlist is now. Nowadays they use the banlist as a pseudo set rotation lmao)

I don't see how that's a trait of GX cards in general. Their DEF, like in all series, is usually rather arbitrary. And really, it's mostly irrelevant to what makes Rainbow Dragon a bad card anyway. It's bad because it's hard to Summon, and forces you to use bad cards to Summon it.

And that's what most GX era ace cards are.

Hard to summon, takes bad cards to summon, but in the end it's not that worth it.

Jaden's anime Hero fusions (his manga ones are great, though), Chazz's XYZ and LV dragons, Alexis' Cyber Blader, Bastion's Water Dragon, and of course Jesse's Rainbow Dragon as well.

They do if you remember they count as spells after they're beat in battle. 6 zones, not 3

Similar to Yami Marik and the Winged Dragon of Ra, based on this event, I don't think they'll give us Rainbow Dragon straight out of the gate. They'll probably give it for beating Jesse Level 50.

It's possible; but I doubt it. Since Rainbow Dragon is Jesse's ace monster, it most likely to be unlocked with Jesse.

How do you summon rainbow dragon in this format? Jesse will probably have a skill to summon it

Rainbow dragon looks like some hot garbage.
7 monsters with different names... So what, you running a deck with no consistency at all? Even after you summon it, its effect removes itself so useless. And its other effect is useless cause what monsters are gonna be on your field? Their all in your grave. Plus it will just be floodgated or something

It removes itself along with everything else on the field, including all your opponent's monsters and spell & traps, meaning if you still can summon another monster, you get a free direct attack.

Its other effect lets it gains 1000 ATK for each Crystal Beast in your Graveyard. It is still face-up on the field, the only ones in the Graveyard are the CBs. Rainbow Dragon is not a CB.

People laughed at the 0 DEF, but it's never meant to stay on the field for multiple turns, it's supposed to either deliver the final attack, or clear the field so another monster can deal the finishing blow safely.

If your idea is dump Crystal Beast monsters to the graveyard, That Grass Looks Greener could be better choice

damn that second effect is pretty good. hard minus if your opponent has already invested alot of resources onto the field
