Tips

  • There is no restriction to what you can do with these tokens so you can use them as synchro material, effect cost, tribute fodder, etc.
  • If you Special Summon Nine-Tailed Fox from the graveyard with an effect other than its own, you will still get its pierce effect.

Fire King

Fire Kings have a lot of self-destruction effects that can let you trigger Nine Tailed Fox's effect. Fire King Island and Fire King can destroy this card in your hand to trigger it's effect.

Use it on vampire to tribute grace and other monster then pay 2000 to re-summon grace and trigger bandit

Actually the goddess da ji (Nine tailed fox) is chinise, but I think they have smthing similar in jap(like how the Greek gods got adopted by rome)

It's gimmick that you can possibly res it every turn as long as you can protect the tokens. Some other cards care about being tributes, such as psychic ace and relinkuriboh. Once we get XYZ and link monsters this card will probably be better.

Her name is Da Ji, The Nine-Tailed Fox.
Daji, was the favorite consort of King Zhou of Shang, the last king of the Shang dynasty in ancient China. She is portrayed as a malevolent fox spirit in legends as well as novels. Her identification as a fox spirit seems to have originated from at least the Tang dynasty.

Well we did get Gradius which is from the Gradius games so it makes sense we get the ninetails from the Naruto anime.

If you were wondering: the Nine Tail Fox is a prominent creature in traditional Japanese folklore. It's not an anime reference, more like various anime reference it.
