Skill Details

Can be used each time your Life Points are at 2000 or below. For every 1000 Life Points below 4000, play 1 "Cyber Dragon" with 0 ATK from your hand or Deck to the field.

You can only Special Summon "Cyber End Dragon" until the end of your opponent's next turn.

"Cyber Dragon" played with this Skill cannot be Tributed, and while they are face-up on the field, you cannot Special Summon except for Fusion monsters, nor attack except with Fusion Monsters.

How I would nerf this skill if I could:


Can be used if your Life Points are at 1000 or below, AND your Monster Zones are all empty.
Play 3 "Proto-Cyber Dragon" in Attack Position from inside your Deck to your side of the field. ("Proto-Cyber Dragon" in your hand or Graveyard will not be played.)
"Proto-Cyber Dragon" played with this Skill cannot be Tributed, and while they are face-up on the field, you cannot Special Summon except Fusion Summoning, nor attack except with Fusion Monsters.
You can only Fusion Summon once on the turn this skill is activated.
This skill can only be used once per Duel.

Should also make it so that you cannot activate spell and trap cards, except spell and trap cards whose effect involves fusion summoning a monster from the extra deck, during the turn you activate the skill.

One of the most annoying skills. The deck run only 5 monsters with absolutely no searcher. No monsters to summon in your opening hand? No worries, I'm a gonna cyclone myself and cybernetic fusion support to summon 10 cyber dragon out of no way where you can react at all because it's a 🔥ing skill. Then, I'll just use overflow to wipe your entire 🔥ing field and finish you with rampage dragon.

thats why i dont run a cyber dragon deck, it relies to heavy on the skill. in case konami nerfs that skill, this deck is beyond dead

With Cyber Dragon becoming meta and this skill being played in all of those decks, I wouldn’t be surprised if this skill gets nerfed again

I think if they were to nerf the skill, they'll make it so you can summon one Proto Cyber Dragon per 1100 LP lost under 4000, not 1000. Would make sense they would go this way; 1100 LP for 1100 ATK monster.

My guess is that you can summon only 1 cyber dragon onto the field per 1500 LP lost/payed and only at the 4th turn or so also they will semi limit the cyberdragon trap to 3 so they will not be allowed to play cyclones in there any more. In my opinion the skills used in all meta decks are going to get nerfed to oblivion like sealed tombs or duel standby to either push newly decks or change the meta

Pretty sure Konami isnt thinking to nerf Cyber Style or even any of the CyDra cards. They can barely reach to top 50 during each season. And why would they hit a tier 3 deck?

Konami needs to buff this but it's gonna be difficult lol

1) Should work with Cyber related S/T or fusions regardless of tribute or Special summon.

2) Shouldn't work with fusion summons that aren't Cyber Dragon related.

You couldn't use it then either.

'A Fusion Summon of this card can only be done with the above Fusion Material Monsters.'

So no Hex as a substitute.

I was just testing a Cyber Style deck and confirmed several times that The Light Hex will no longer activate if the other materials are Proto Cyber Dragons. Flash Fusion cannot use these Proto Cyber Dragonsas materials either.

Something in me tells me this last one is a bug since Flash Fusion should count as a Fusion summon.

I missed this skill so much, the #1 skill in the game, the most skill i enjoyed playing it, the best skill for the best character, u.a and vamps are nothing to say without cyber style. I missed it

Me too! Zane was also awesome with this skill with amazoness, especially before the baby tiger got hit. Konami had to ruin it and now I almost never see Zane in pvp anymore...

Re OP: Will admit that Cyber style is still nice for last minute attacks, and if you can tech in polymerization, even better.

You can use Evolution Burst. Also good with things like Gandora.

It seems like the nerf of cyber style did not affect U.A. at all. Some guy made it to kog with U.A. this season almost asap ! that says a lot...
