Gadget: deck recipe [Nov 6]

Duel Links Gadget deck, Gadget in the meta, how to use Gadget cards.
update 06/11/2021
Diamond Dire Wolf
Diamond Dire Wolf
EARTH Beast ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them.

Destroy itself and 1 card your opponent controls. If you already have 2 monsters on the field because of the Gadget's floating effect, you can make a Dire Wolf and destroy an opponent's spell/trap before you normal summon to have a more safer and uninterrupted play.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK Insect ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

Works well against opponents that only have 1 monster on the field. Even better if it's an XYZ monster since it will remove all their materials, or if it's a monster that says that it can't be special summoned in the card text.

Gear Gigant X
Gear Gigant X
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 2300 / DEF 1500
Voltage of the Metal [UR]
2 Level 4 Machine-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 Level 4 or lower Machine-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When this card leaves the field: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Geargia" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.

Make this early so you can search for a Planet Pathfinder, Kiteroid, or any of the Gadget monsters so you don't run out of resources.

Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon
Number 91: Thunder Spark Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [SR]
3 Level 4 monstersOnce per turn, you can activate 1 of these effects.
● Detach 3 Xyz Materials from this card; destroy all other face-up monsters on the field.
● Detach 5 Xyz Materials from this card; destroy all cards your opponent controls.

Pretty much a Raigeki in the form of a monster. It can still attack after wiping all monsters your opponent controls, so you only need to have another monster to reach 4000+ damage.

Digital Bug Corebage
Digital Bug Corebage
LIGHT Insect ★5
ATK 2200 / DEF 1800
Infinite Ray [R]
2 or more Level 5 LIGHT Insect-Type monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by detaching 2 Xyz Materials from a Rank 3 or 4 Insect-Type Xyz Monster you control, then using that Xyz Monster as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; shuffle it into the Deck. Once per turn, if the battle position of a monster(s) on the field is changed (except during the Damage Step): You can attach 1 Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard to this card as Xyz Material.

Go into this by ranking up from Malevolent Sin, but you'll need to not activate Sin's effect. This can be situationally better since the monster will not return back to the field but only works on monsters in defense position.

Number 18: Heraldry Patriarch
Number 18: Heraldry Patriarch
LIGHT Psychic ★4
ATK 2200 / DEF 2200
Voltage of the Metal [R]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per Chain, during either player's turn, if 2 or more monsters with the same name are on the field: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; choose 1 monster among those with the same name, and destroy all other monsters with that name. While this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot Summon monsters with the same name as any of the monster(s) chosen for this card's effect. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can send 2 "Heraldic Beast" monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Pretty crucial against decks that uses same name monsters like Harpies or Cyber Dragons. This prevents them from being able to do their combos and makes them focus on dealing with this instead of your other cards.

DARK Dragon ★4
ATK 2750 / DEF 1950
Selection Box Vol.04 [SR]
3 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then activate 1 of these effects. Each effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field.
● Target 1 card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand.
● Send 1 random card from your opponent's hand to the Graveyard.
● Target 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard; banish that target.

Situationally useful to deal with strong boss monsters with high ATK since the deck doesn't have many high ATK monsters.

Notes from DarkSeto92

I used this deck and reach top 16(a mistake for be tired after 5 hours of tournament) in battle phase rising sun and for kog. Gadgets have a lot of potential thank their balance and abuse of - 1 staple trap card meta. I haven t got three karma cut during the tournament but now I have the rest 2 copy. I recommend, if you have got, to test necrovalley. D. D crow is a very great card now and don t be scared to use it.

This is on the same level as Harpie Ladies, mind you. Even better than gimmick puppets.

Nice one trick pony. The real problem is to get the Planet Pathfinder quickly.

Why don't you say something? Are you dead too?
It pisses me off when I check out deck recipes for a specific archetype on this site, and they...
Never mind just tested it out myself and it is after the attack reduction.
